There is need for everyone to be safe. However, I have a reservation to this since it is deceptive. If the test will not be conducted to the workers each time at no cost, then this is deceptive. How many Federal workers will be able to afford doing the test at least once a week since the cost for each test according to NCDC website ranges between N36000 to N50,400? That means, they actually meant that it is compulsory for all Federal workers so that they can gain access to their place of work.

The Federal government has tried and I believe that if actually those that desire not be be vaccinated will receive free test at all times, then the decision will be straight.

People are required to show negative pcr test every 72hours... For civil servants that you pay how much? Is the pcr test free? That stuff costs between 40 to 60k per test so you are indirectly saying they must get the vaccine na. Why not own it with your full chest? Pstcheew

I walked into a hotel and after going through the menu, I ordered some food. After about 20 mins a group of guys and ladies walked in & ordered theirs. To my dismay, these folks got served first. I watched as they began to eat& laugh heartily. I even overheard one of them bragging about how connected he is to everyone in the hotel and I felt mocked . I decided to leave. Unable to take it anymore , I called the waiter. He calmly told me: "yours is a special order, being prepared by the chief chef himself. Their orders were prepared hurriedly by students on attachment because the top chefs are busy with yours Sir. That's why they were served first. Please have some juice as you wait". I calmed down & waited patiently.
Shortly after, my meal was served by 6 waiters. Unknown to me, the owner of the hotel (who happened to be an old long lost friend of mine) saw me when I entered and decided to surprise me. She changed my simple meal to a five-star meal. The party at the other table were shocked. They couldn't stop staring. Suddenly they were the ones murmuring, asking why they didn't get that kind of service and meal.
Such is life! Some people are ahead of you and are eating now, laughing at you and talking about how they are smarter, wiser and better than you, how they are well connected, blessed, have money and are enjoying life . You are waiting tirelessly wondering why it's taking so long to breakthrough, You endure mockery and humiliation. Maybe you have contemplated suicide, gone throughout depression or suffered severe mental anxiety. Do not worry! The owner of the world has seen u & doesn't want u to be served a simple meal like those making a mockery of you. You're waiting long because yours is a special meal. It takes time to prepare. And only chief chefs prepare them.
Wait for your meal and relax . When it comes that laughing party will be silenced for good.
Stay Blessed and enjoy your day. This is my word of encouragement to you so please share to encourage others.

Nice story but not practical, if you keep waiting you might be waiting for something that would never come. If you see something you that would benefit you go grab it quick! Time waits for no one!

Sometimes, I wonder why the medical world prefer to go for an expensive option of vaccination...how many booster doses would one need to be immuned?

Having lost someone I know to the disease, and having watched someone die from the disease, despite all the drugs , Ivermectin inclusive, given, I'm not so sanguine.

And also, let's be honest, having seen children not vaccinated against, say, measles suffer needlessly, I am even more insistent that people get vaccinated.

It's not funny watching people suffer for nothing. And this covid thing...it's not a funny disease. At least am happy we have a vaccine. At least it is not too complicated to develop a vaccine, unlike HIV.

Having seen people die from this thing, I don't regard it as 'forcing' someone...especially since I am not in your house with armed men, ready to force you to go to the nearest hospital for the vaccine, ...if I tell people that getting vaccinated is necessary, and needful.

No, they are scrapping restrictions because they have vaccinated enough people to the point where they are sure there is enough protection from the disease.

Plus, we still have large numbers of non-vaccinated people...which is why we still have cases.

Plus, if you catch covid as a vaccinated person, your risk of falling ill severely or dying is reduced.

I'll take those odds.
