Dialogue.
This has failed while some don't want it. We need to review our constitution and return to true federalism if we must progress. This generation is suffering

Who says we must have LGA ? That should be for the state to decide

My local government head quarters is in another local government that's how messed up the local governments are ... people in Abuja just draw rubbish and expect it to function

People have no connection to LGAs simple

Local government should be abolished. It is filled with lazy ghost workers. It does not serve any purpose in Igbo land

It is only used by the bamboohari people to divert the resources of other people to themselves.

Nobody is holding anyone back. Those threatening to leave are just making noise and beating chest. They know the right steps to take, they should take it if they can.

Yes, it's negotiable, and since the majority wants one Nigeria, that means no comments again.

No one can ever force breakaway.
Nigeria must divide.

Having read through the details of his speech, it’s obvious he was merely rehashing Buhari’s ‘Dot in a Circle’ infamous statement.

That is why he is talking about how we cannot move our land from where it is.

No talk about what brought the agitations.

No talk about how address the root cause of these agitations.

They keep putting it on the Igbos to be humble and negotiate with the rest of Nigeria.

Would the heavens fall from the sky if the rest of Nigeria asks the Igbos what can be done to assuage their ill feelings?

Ndi Ala!
This is how you nyamiri people also think, a
prominent and influencial person from the core north has come out and admitted that the unity of Nigeria is negotiable, contrary to opinions of other prominent and influential Nigerians who think otherwise, he cited example about family and marriage. If both parties feel its not working they should sit down and decide if they want to go their separate ways.

He however advised if any part wants to break away, that party should weigh its options carefully and its consequences. Its it left for you people to weigh your options and decide , you leave or you stay. The underling things is he has admitted that the unity is negotiable.

Nobody will ask you about what your feeling is or not if you want to leave , you are free to EXIT. Nigeria is NEGOTIABLE.

What has the humility since after the war availed?
Did it avail a rebuild of the war torn areas? At present, the only federal structures in Igboland are police stations and universities. Rather, they come from yonder to loot oil money for their pockets. Not even for the development of their people, which effect if they are done that would Cascade to other parts of the country one way or the other. But what do we have?

I just past some set of Fulani herdsmen in Awka. They even block the road as they pass.

Seriously, these Fulani guys are still in the east?

Contrary to what I have been reading on Nairaland.

I travelled to Onitsha for a burial on Thursday. I am on my way travelling back to my base, I was really surprised to see cows still obstructing vehicular movement in the east.

So why are they not agitating, using the model Kingibe prescribed? Or is it that they just love to go round in circles for eternity doing same thing over and over again and expecting a different result?

What is the latest news about LG autonomy? Is the FG now paying LG direct or they still pay though the State Government

The LG, State Judiciary and State Legislative arms needs to be an independent institution if we are truly serious about True Federalism.

pls educate ur self more about the structure we Re demanding from fg.. let each state creat it own numbers of local government... Resources Control...55% for state, 25% for fg and 20% for local government.if Kano like it can have 100 local government and ogun state decided to have 15 base on it incomes ...
This 8sbthe only way to fast track true development in Nigeria... Every state government / region we apply wisdom in managing what incomes they are generating...
