Viraltrends123:Saude is not a Southerner The people employed in Lagos have their roots entirely not from any affiliated Yorubaland. When an Hausa person wants to deceive a Yoruba man then he embraces somebody from Kwara or Kogi claiming he is in love with Yoruba people! That is a scam 1 Like |

The Igbos outright hate the Yoruba and it is time Yorubas become very conscious of this hatred. Truth be told the hatred is a two way street! Well, let me take it back, I would not call it hatred but rather an unhealthy rivalry. This rivalry stems from the British Colonial era policy of divide and rule which, they imbibed into the consciousness of the citizens to bring suspicion and mistrust so that they can continue to loot the country. But one thing that both tribes, Igbo and Yoruba, failed to appreciate is that there are more that bind us together than separate us. Both tribes pretty much share similar values as far as education, hard-work, entrepreneurship, innovation, sense of community, personal responsibility, self reliance and empowerment are concerned. So, only those that do not understand the dynamic at play would call it hatred. As Igbos, I am certain there are aspects of us that other tribes resent and so are the Yorubas as well. There are aspects of them that other tribes detest. The major problem is that we see our differences as things to use to drive a wedge between us and demonize each other. It should not be and that's the more reason we want the disintegration of the damned country! 3 Likes |

TooNoisy:mehn stop it...majority of igbos don't hate yorubas. Else no igbo man will reside in lagos. Yorubas have this subtle hate for igbos having been successful in lagos. U cud attest to a video some miscreants where agitating dt igbos have bought so many lands in lagos and as such the land should be collected back. Not denying some igbos openly detest d Yorubas well u can't excuse that for the serial romancing with the North. It's like the igbos saying wake up we need u to see beyond d gimmicks we can be united and better. But no. The Hausa promise u guys power and every single thing u wish for. Well u give the hate u give cos I don't see igbos showing same to middle Beltans or Niger Deltans. I've live all my life with yorubas to be honest I love them. Tiamiyhu and Taiwo my yoruba blood Brothers lols. No hate brother it just the way things are. U see us they hate outside nigeria. Na so northern power make am br |

TooNoisy: Though you have many LIKEs on the above comment, I will like to give you DISLIKE. Your assumption that 'Igbos' hate Yorubas is not fair comment to those 'Igbos' who love Yorubas more than some Yorubas themselves love their Yoruba Brothers or Sisters. It's possible you are commenting your own personal hatred towards Igbos but generalizing an entire Ethnic group as hating Yorubas is not good narrative. Let's watch what we write here. 5 Likes 1 Share |

You are nothing but a cheaply paid BMC agent of destabilisation. Going through your previous posts, there is nothing of intellectual value. Only hatred against Igbos. Almost every year the Hausas at Idiaraba have deadly fight with the Yoruba boys but a BMC bastard like you deny such because of your cheap N30k allowance. Nowhere in Lagos have the Igbos ever gathered to fight the Yoruba physically You are a nobody on Nairaland and a Nobody off it. SlyDev: 5 Likes |
