The reason for return will be documented as "buyer rejected the item", and I don't think that will boost your buyer ratings on AE (buyers also have ratings like sellers do and sellers avoid transacting with buyers that have poor ratings).

Also if your shipment is not "free shipping", the amount refunded will be short by the amount billed for the shipping. That is, only the cost price (minus the shipping fee) will be refunded to you in this instance.

So weigh your options.

There is really no way to avoid speedaf except your item is shipped from Hong Kong or Singapore (where speedaf currently don't have presence); in either case, your shipping option could be Hong Kong Post or Singapore Post respectively.

But if it is AliExpress Standard Shipping or Cainiao, there is high chance it will end up with speedaf.

And speedaf isn't so bad by the way. Your tracking number clearly ends with "O" which indicates ordinary parcel (as opposed to "R" registered). Most likely ordinary parcels do not get the doorstep treatment that registered gets, although I am forced to believe that speedaf initially handles all parcel as doorstep delivery and may have just effected this policy change in recent times.

I applied for a refund which was granted. Just last week I received a call from post office that my parcel has arrived. I went there and realised that the parcel was there all these while.

I see alot of orders on AE plus it's a budget gadget and ion even know which one to order.

That Lenovo cost seems to be on the high side, so I tried out Redmi earbuds (version 2) which is around 4k. It was delivered via speedaf in 2 weeks and for about a week now, its been going on fine.

The bass isn't bad especially if you are able to set the equalizer on your device. The connection can be via one or both earbuds and connection is instant the moment you bring the pod outta the case. The button only controls pause/play, no ff or rew. The bud fits the ear tightly such that ambient sound is shut out. No USB cable was included in mine though, but I think that was the package I opted for.

I'm looking forward to trying out the version 3 which is soft touch button, more colour options, waterproof, ff and rew options, USB type C charging port and of course more recent. It goes for between 6k and 9k depending on the store.

I don't think he's a scammer. He placed the order for the phone yesterday before I even paid him. Waiting for seller to ship item today. Will update the house. Beside, he uses GTB bank, not Wema Bank

Actually, the seller changed (in his own words) the logistics method. The logistics company on AliExpress cancelled the previous tracking number.

You can't find Speedaf as a delivery option on AliExpress. You simply select AliExpress Standard shipping (or probably any other one) and your order might be allocated to Speedaf.

I'm sure they're even store specific... I ordered phone cases more than one time in one store and Speedaf handled all of them.
