You all know the truth but you just want to argue.

The fact is clear.

Nope he thought Gabriel had end product if Pep wanted work rate and defensive contribution he would have saved lots of money and just signed James Milner
TheGoodJoe:

You proved the point here. Whether initially or previously or error, he believed Gabriel Jesus attributes over Aguero's goal machine abilities.

Finito.

What are you guys arguing facts?

Your second paragraph puts an end to the debate. Finito

It was said from the beginning of the argument that occurred for no reason.

That is why I said the problem has to do with comprehension.

What kind of wuru wuru - to - the- answer kind of tricks is this? We are talking about objective criteria as to who is better than the other yet you keep going on and on talking about Gaudiola's personal preference and using it to sidestep the real issue.

I've taken Joebie's hint that one should let the music play on and therefore let the matter slide but what concerns me is the intellectual cunningness of your position.
Simple case: who is better than the other not who Gaudiola prefers based on specific attributes!

Gabriel Jesus was a kid for Christ sake. Aguero was the legend. It was purely about tactics.

Said the same about Iheanacho. That Iheanacho scores at every opportunity in training but he wants more from a striker.

So what is the problem.
Did I say there was a problem? It will go on record that Aguero has a better career than Jesus regardless of your preference or Pep's own.

Explain where the dribble is.

The analogy was Guardiola preferring Gabriel Jesus despite Aguero being a higher rated attacker.

Same way some believe a coach will prefer Osimhen despite Haaland being rated higher.

I know that from the beginning it was stated but you see the real intent of you guys saying that Osimhen is the better player in every other respect apart from scoring goals is your cunning way of saying Osimhen is actually better. That is why the argument has lingered. Those on the other side of the debate see through the smokescreen.

Gabriel sha don mature abi? He's older than Mbappe and Haaland so please drop the age excuse.

Now you have shifted from 'preferred' to tactics.

Sorry we are not talking about training but about actual match situations. As good a finisher as Iheanacho is everyone knows he not yet at an elite level of goal scoring.

Jesus was bought because Pep thought he had a potential goal scoring machine to match the kind of technical ability he likes to see in his players like a slightly lesser version of Messi. But when the Brazilian didn't set the stage on fire Guardiola quickly settled for the Devil he knew in Aguero and he was rewarded.

Chris Samba also played as a striker in some games for Blackburn under Sam Allardyce based on his attributes too and he preferred him to other strikers which were on the bench.

Don't attack what you think. Attack the points raised. You are arguing because you think we are trying to say. Like that does not add up.

Just deal with the points.

Why should we drop the age issue when the discussion was about when he arrived and Guardiola preferred Gabriel Jesus over Aguero. I used the term a small boy. When he arrived. That is the point. Not now but when he arrived the Club.

Been watching Akin Amoo’s videos and I was left wondering why he has been overlooked while we keep chasing after those who ain’t even as good as he is just because they were born in Europe?

Why would anybody suggest Ejaria as an AM when we have Amoo?

It’s only on naira land that someone can say Osimehn is right now more complete than haaland. Anywhere else, you’re getting mocked, slapped and ignored for saying that. In the future, he might become as good as haaland but as for now, he is not. Osimehn reminds me of a drogba esque stats while haaland gives me cristiano ronaldo stats vibes. Also, using irrelevant jargons like “defensive duties” to fix your narratives at judging a striker quality already makes your argument invalid because we all know a striker main objective. The paid agents now wants to use Simy penalty and tap in stats as an example lool I laugh in swahili

Very good question
Man plays like messi, AM, CM and wing positions
Rohr is just a lazy coach and stubborn like Buhari (guess it's old men syndrome)
You have such player play so good and yet overlooked.
As long as we may want to laugh at the Ghanaian squad, their players play in more obscure leagues and their representation is spot on.

You guys better keep the same energy when Rohr select Moses Simon ahead of a more purposeful wingers because statistically, Simon beats all our wingers on the defensive end.

If amoo was a British Nigerian and pulling these numbers and performances, I’m sure that everyone will be advocating for his inclusion. Nigerians are suffering from colo mentality. After all, is it not the same people that has ejuke and are salivating for olise.

Haaland is a superstar amid superstars, his performances accentuated by the quality around him.
Looking at Iheanacho's performances, some people might want to conclude that KC of Manchester City is way better than KC of Leicester City, but we know why it might look that way.

Osimhen on the other hand is a trusted friend you can rely on at all times, whatever the weather his presence and impact will be felt.

Haaland is so efficient at what he does, and that's it.

Osimhen is three players rolled into one. He, always brings that extra.
Imagine if Osimhen plays for C.A.R. Most of us will want to ban some of our defenders for life.
Defenders that are error prone will give you errors especially when someone is motivating (pressing) them to do so.
There will be so many back passes to the goalkeeper who will hoof the ball to save his life thereby squandering possession and inviting more press.

Employers of labour will want to keep an Osimhen at all cost, because there are moments when you will have to sacrifice efficiency for stability and still get results.

Osimehn despite being a fast, strong, pressing striker typically misses too many easy chances. Last season alone, he could had scored double the amount that he scored if not for missed chances and this season, similar situations is occurring. Instead of them to advise osimehn to improve on his weakness. The amount of easy chances that osimehn has missed so far this season, he could had been on double figures already
1) missing easy chances
2) First touch and technique

You now want to compare him to someone with the best stats in all of Europe. This is exactly, why one shouldn’t have all yes man at his corner. You need people that will force it’s players to improve and not encourage them by making asinine comments

The player you least liked playing against?

Thierry Henry: “I’ll go back in the days, Taribo West.”

Jamie Carragher: “Nigeria. Inter Milan.”

Henry: “At AJ Auxerre.Because they were man-marking, he was following you everywhere, even in the dressing room.”

A striker that misses easy chances compared to a striker that has one of the best number in the entire world. Keep being DELUDED. You didn’t even want to compare “missed chances” “technique” “first touch” all you guys are saying is “pressing”. Please, why is it only at naira land that these conversations is being discussed?
