How long does it take to get a mail from TLS notifying you that your application had been transferred to UKVI following your biometrics? I really do think TLS is moving at snails pace.

its normally the same day.
but track it to know if it's been transfered, dont wait for mail all the time?

That's exactly what I thought until I received an email this morning from TLS notifying me that my application has been transferred to UKVI. Really? Since last Wednesday when I completed my biometrics? Na wa!

Hi All. I just got refused this October for a UK tourist visa for 6months. I am a first time applicant and I didn’t do a thorough ground work before application. I am self employed with a CAC for limited liability company registered in 2019.
I used my business account only without using a savings account.
I was refused on the grounds that I didn’t provide evidence that I am in receipt of a regular income from my business.
I want to start paying myself a salary of 500k monthly into a savings account so I can reapply in March(complete 6 months).
I also am getting married in December to a person already in the UK on Tier 2 visa.
My issues are
1) In my application, I didn’t mention my fiancé at all and only stated that I wanted to visit the UK for vacation only and used a hotel booking. Will my subsequent marriage to him, only 2months after my refusal be a red flag for them and cause them to doubt the marriage even if I submit my marriage certificate and pictures?
2) if he has to apply for spousal visa for me, will my refusal be an issue?
3) I am also a skilled worker. If I decide to apply for a job in the UK and get a company to sponsor my application for a tier 2 visa, will my refusal be a problem?

I have a similar issue, though I have not submitted my application. I have been using my savings account to receive proceeds from my business. I don't want to start paying myself now but from Jan 2022, I will start. what are my chances?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by prettybimbim: 11:30am On Oct 26, 2021
No you have nothing to worry about, after your wedding, you can put in your application for spousal visa, showing all the necessary documents required. Go to the spousal visa post on Nairaland and study the requirements step by step. I dont think you need to apply for visitors visa anymore.

the message might just come late, they might have transfered it since cos the application we packaged d principal applicant is ready for collection wn tracked but collection mail came 12 days after, d dependent own still @DMC despite the fact that both were transfered to UKVI and DMC @ the same day.

wetin cause this slow action i cant phantom it at all

Well, paid mail has been sent to UKVI on the issue yet to receive reply from them.

Submitted in ikeja today and I regret not paying £55 and staying in VI, since I’ve been applying for a Uk visa I’ve never experienced this type of mammoth crowd before, no chair to sit, nothing .
usually they’ll separate those who have uploaded their documents from those who haven’t and that’s wasn’t the case today , I was forced to pay for premium lounge due to the redundant queue outside from people who entered two hours before me because I arrived there pretty early, even the premium lounge there was a crowd there and I was number 11, the anger in me can only subside if my application comes out in 15 days as always if not I go swear for them grin

Since last night that i initiated this transaction, I’m yet to be debited or get a mail. I used my debit card for the payment (6 month visa)

Does it usually take this long?

if you get married to someone on tier 2 visa and intend to go to the UK afterwards on your spouse’s visa... your visa category will be tier 2 partner dependent visa and not spousal visa. Pls dnt apply for the wrong category as u will be refused.

This is incorrect.
He is a Tier 2 holder which is not a Settled status or British therefore she would apply for a dependant visa as his spouse NOT a spousal visa as she does not qualify at this time.

TLS collection mail finally dropped today, meaning visa was granted because no refusal mail.

6 months Visa issued, 1st application, see list of documents submitted (self upload). I hope it will help someone here.

Good morning,
congrats...... how did you know decision has been made and why is it so long since August 31, is there any issue with the application that cause the delay?

Do you count the day you get your biometrics done as day 1 or the day after? How many are still waiting to collect their passports on this board and when did you do your biometrics?
