I appreciate your questions

Let me take you down memory lane

He was a major financier of the Nadeco ( national action for democracy)

Nadeco was a group of progressives that fought the military junta of General sani abacha to standstill and made it possible for the democracy we enjoyed now

Do I answer your question?

If you need clarification I am still much available
You are waring your time to explain to individual that already aware of the truth but decided to be something else.... All of them will soon know, accept that indeed there's no shade under the palm tree

Why did tinubu rescind on his affirmative stands of creating more local government in Lagos just four months to exit office..

He was there after paid more than 160billion naira meant for local government and he concerned it all...

He also still sued the FG to force FG to release the may allocation of his last month in office to him instead of fashola...

See, it's not about politics, it's about the man himself.. he is too corrupt and dubious

See, it's not about politics, it's about the man himself.. he is too corrupt and dubious

This wasn't what happened.

1) Around 2002, Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Yobe and some other States created Local Gov'ts as specified in constitution.

2) The last part of the constitutional lay down process require the State to forward the newly created LGAs to the National Assembly so that the NA can add them to the list of the LGAs in the fifth schedule of the Constitution.
Lagos State compiled by submitting the names for listening to the N.A but the N.A refused to act on it.

3) Meanwhile, Obasanjo and the PDP were strongly opposed to the creation of more LGAs. Obasanjo ,who regarded himself far superior to other political actors at the time (and truly he was) didn't like to be questioned on matters of Gov't policies, so he mounted pressure on the States to scrapped their newly created LGAs stating that the matter can causes unnecessary rivalries among States and will heat up the polity. Other States succumbed to Obasanjo's pressure except Lagos.

4) Then Obasanjo directed that the Local Gov't Fund for Lagos be stopped. The LASG under Tinubu took the matter to court which dragged on for years.
5) Around early 2007, the Supreme Court ruled that

a) the LGAs created by Lagos weren't actually illegal but the process of creating them were in complete ,so they can exist while awaiting their listing by the N.A
b) that Obasanjo had no power to seize council funds meant for Lagos and the accumulated fund should be released to the State.

6) Obasanjo said he accepted the court ruling but he still refused to release the fund, giving the excuse that the original councils have been dissolved and he didn't know who to release the fund to.

7) Eminent Legal scholars led by Prince Bola Ajibola intervened by proposing a compromise in which the newly created councils will become Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) under the old councils which should revert back to their Identities.

cool President Yar'Adua came to power on May, 29, 2007 and promised to accept and implement the court ruling, so he directed that the money be released (in tranches) to Lagos and this was done between July,2007-2008 long after Tinubu has left office.

That someone financed NADECO is no reason to hand over the Nigerian presidency to such a fellow
While Tinubu was on a self imposed exile there were group 34 eminent politicians who did not brun away but stoood their ground to request Abacha to hand over to a democratic government. Non of them got rewarded with even a governorship position.

Tinubu has already been rewarded with Lagos state governorship post for 8 years and Lagos state treasury for his life time, is this not enough reward already

Nobody is being rewarded or will be rewarded for anything.

The election will be keenly contested.

I will also like to contest for the same election, if I have enough money and the youth of this country can support me.

In 2005, Obasanjo had seized Lagos State statutory allocation over Tinubu’s decision to create additional 37 Local Council Development Areas, LCDAs.

You should read more and upgrade yourself from hate. Honestly, it’s you and your colleagues that need that brain surgery and put an end to your daftness. I come in peace undecided

The north go hear am when south comes to power in 2023. I can see a joint effort of southern politicians in both APC and PDP to make sure power comes to the south. The first thing the southern president will do is to appoint a southerner as police IG and ARMY chief and also AGF will go to the south. After that state police and restructuring will start. The north go hear word by force .

A southern president and a southern AGF will support the collection of VATs by States and implement the anti open grazing law of southern states.

The north go hear word by force in 2023

I hope you know that all these policies will also favour the North?

My bro, we told them Tinubu is a politician uncommonly loved by all his colleagues across Nigeria but they would not accept that.

This is a leader only a few, like Bode George, hate permanently while many testify to his good heart, mentoring ability and interest in helping to norture and support any underdog anywhere with his money and resources.

Game recognize game. Nigerian politicians, like even the worst criminals, also have those they respect and place on a sacrosanct pedestal because those few individual always respect the game and the players.

Unlike Buhari, OBJ and GEJ etal who merely treat politicians as tools to use and dump to achieve an agenda rather than students, as Tinubu does, who will forever love the first teacher who showed them how to think, be effective and to win.

Today, Machiavelli's teaching remains famous because he provoked a school of thought and espoused principles many can still use to win and make progress in life despite departing the world a long time ago.

Many still claim to be Awoist today same as a notable number of Africans are Nkrumah disciples especially in Ghana where politicians can still win saying they believe in Nkrumah's leadership template.

Any Jonathanists, OBJists or Atikuists in Nigerian politics today? No. That is because those men are average leaders and not institutions, political mentors and school of thoughts as the likes of Awolowo, Nkrumah, Mandela, Tinubu etal are.

The speech of "I owe everything to this man" is not one many, even hardened criminals, make lightly in life. Many politicians , from all corners of Nigeria, will make that speech about Tinubu.

Influential Northerners are now even coming out, in defiance of Buhari and his camp, to declare openly for Tinubu when I thought many would wait till at least 2022 with Mr. President a year out of the door.

Bro, it is good to be good in life as Tinubu has been. We know those who hate him and why. Fact is that his fellow politicians, from North to douth plus East and West, love the dude iconically and are ready to work for his Presidency.

Big revelation to the naive. Buhari is just tolerated by his fellow politicians, to include his fellow Northern politicians, because he is President.

Not many politicians, from any anywhere in Nigeria, like Buhari as a Politician. Note I did not say ordinary Nigerians.

Whereas Tinubu is loves genuinely by his fellow politicians to include Northern Politicians.

We must all remember that politician will select who they want, via Party primaries, before the vote is thrown open to ordinary Nigerians in the general election. If in robust health, then nothing and no one can stop Tinubu.

Thanks a million for your patience in educating those simpletons who were either not born or still in diapers in 2003 when Tinubu last contested for any election whatsoever in Nigeria

People like me aren't so patient with brain dead children like that

Thanks once again for your patience

To be sincere, the guy is correct.

Most of the avid opponents of Tinubu are only active online and they can't influence the outcomes of elections in their streets even without rigging.

If most of you guys can register with and regularly attend meetings of a political party, then come together as a mass movement , you can effect the desired changes you want by supporting a vibrant youth for the presidency.

Most of the well educated and enlightened youths of this country don't participate in the political processess of recruiting leaders for their communities, States and country at large.
