makano:sorry sir, he cant create a GIC account for him as only the recipient can do that.My brother wanted to do that for me but could not.what u will do is tell him to open a Domiciliary account and send the money for GIC to that Domiciliary account. pay a little over the money cos there will be interbank and offshore charges.then let him open a GIC account and transfer the money for his GIC to CIBC. note that when he is submitted his proof of funds ,he should attach his Domiciliary account statement to show that u sent the money from Canada for that GIC and he should indicate it in his letter of explanation in the proof of fund section.also u must state it in ur letter of support /sponsorship that u have demonstrated ur willingness to sponsor him by paying his school fees and sending him money to pay for his GIC cos according to the bank rules,u could not pay it directly urself .only the applicant /customer can. |

Hakim I have gone through your posts and I can see the VO claimed that you statement and what you earn from your job doesn't add up. I am guessing you did not submit pay slips, also when scanning bank statement digitally label each statement. For example your salary acc, when you scan it label it salary account so they can see salary payments. Business account label it, sponsors account label. See these VOs can get stressed or irritated when things are not well put together. Print bank statement of one year each and in addition to tuition pay for GIC if you can afford to. In your LOE, use sub headings and or subsections, one of them should be finance. Make it detailed but concise at the same time. From both refusals it is obvious finance is the main worry and they believe you are mobile. Make a section to talk on your ties to Nigeria, tell them things about your current living situation, family and other key things. Don't "over disclose nor under disclose". HakHim: |

Viewoliver:what I said was a suggestion, not compulsory but may have an impact to show that u r indeed ready.so u may send it through webform as ur application is already due since it's a 2nd application and its past 3 months already. sending ur updated letter of admission will not delay ur application, infact they may even request for it if they want to give u ppr and realize that ur letter of admission is already expired so u may or may not send the updated LOA but I think its neccessary sir.since ur eligibility has started early this month,I think they are close to a decision so please keep sending those mails and webform so they dont sleep on ur application. Hope u tackled d reasons 4 ur refusal though |

Hello great men and women of this forum. Please I am struggling so hard to compress my documents to 4mb and place it in Client Information Sections. I have used all compressors but it remains above 4mb and the print has faded greatly. It is possible to take some information to other sections? For instance, scanned passport, my travel histories, stamps pages and attached it in the section requesting for PASSPORT. Also attach mybankStAtement, GIC, School fees payment receipt, my Company CAC document and employment history in my MEANS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT SECTION. If I do that, I can comfortably compress others in my CLIENT INFORMATION SECTION. What are your opinions? |

Hello Jolly Nairobi is responsible for 90% of Nigeria study Visa applications, meaning they don't work on all applications from Nigeria.. Other Offices that attend to a few of Nigerian applications are Accra, Lagos, and London.. That is why I advise any applicant sending messages for his/her delayed application should not only send to Nairobi, but also to Lagos, London, and Accra.. From 2016 or so to 2018 , ACCRA was the Principal IRCC Office for Nigeria study permit applications before Nairobi took over in 2019 till date, so it's possible Accra still attends to a few of Nigeria study permit applicantions.. But from my research, the ACCRA office attends to Express Entry Applications from Nigeria Applicants... Peace

|

Hello Chisolove Yes, a different Visa Officer worked on your hubby's application.. With the approved reports I have gotten so far, that particular Visa officer (AH03849) has not attended to any approved application.. More reports from approved applicants will be appreciated, because its still early to conclude.. Peace Peace Chisolove3: |

The sections you mentioned are exactly where those documents are meant to be placed. Even when you click the question mark on each, it explains what is expected there....so go ahead and re arrange so you can have legible compression on the 4mb required for client information. Nickoko: |

Oh. Thanks I am worried about compressing it so hard and thereafter produce a poor quality. Honestly my documents are so much. I will give it a try. PatrickOkunima: |

With the steady increase of dollar against our Naira, I think it would be a great idea if you can open GIC account number. It will take miracle for Naira to gain lots of strength again dollar in the next 1year. Ketima: |

Nickoko:Please as regards the highlighted, all this your docs, are the all that important to your application? IRCC knows why the kept the max limit to 4MB. Will a VO who has plenty of other applications to assess be able to go through all this your documents that you yourself is attesting that is so much. Mind you, the complexity of your documents is not a determinant factor in positive decision. But i must be frank with you, the more bulky and complex your application is, the more likely it will take longer time. Is even stated in IRCC website. Please I encourage you to do some sieve analysis biko. Just my humble opinion though |
