Relax,

Open a domiciliary account. Have someone who needs naira give you the dollar equivalent and send to your domiciliary account.

For instance, there was a time $1 = 420 naira. If you had bought say $1k, you could sell for a 560k naira right now. Do the maths.

Bless you!

Please do you have trusted hand on business thread to put me through on how to open a domiciliary acct? If yes, please let me have the monikers.

Just walk into your bank and let them know you want to open one.

Just like you have a savings account, current account, then you could have a dollars account, pounds too.

Tell them to open all for you once and for all.

I started this way back before 99% of you. I was there when this thread started. I am one of those that started uber/taxify in Lagos. I did uber when I lost my first job. I am far older than 99% of people here. I graduated 2006. Served 2007/08. Got my first big job 2009. Did uber in 2014.

I ignore nonsense post, but I chose to correct you.

As in, well it was 3:30 hours out of 4 hours sha, so 30 minutes for any mishaps which was cutting it close.

But the funny thing is I made sure I was online the whole time, but it seems Bolt only counts online when you are on a trip

The hours you’re online without trips don’t count.

Hmmm. Good day oo..

No1. I’m sorry for Derailing
For the past two week I’ve been making research on how to start Uber/Taxify/bolt business .. I’ll let you all to know that I’m 100% novice about this .

1.I want to buy a car for the business .. budget for the car is 1.5m to 2m.

2. I won’t be the one that will do the driving because I have other stuffs to attend to.

3. I don’t know much about car or anything .. but I’m looking out to get maybe a Corolla 2003 or Camry big daddy .. cos I read in one of the articles that your car must be very OK and good looking . U can tell me other options you think are better ..

4. How does one get a reliable driver for it? How do I even register the car( I can’t find their office here in Ibadan ) and make sure the driver doesn’t run away with my car ? Like how much will be my weekly income on the business ? Tbh my target is around 25 to 30k or 120k per months at least ..

5. How reliable is the business , knowing fully well that I no sabi anything about the business ( pls note that I’ve read up to over 200 pages on this thread o) but I just want someone to put me through ..
6. How viable is the business in Ibadan ??

Edit; someone also talked about me getting like 7 TVS okada, which each of them will be remitting 10k weekly .. but the reason I don’t wanna do that is I don hear many cases of Okada theft grin

And lastly , I no go lie I’m sacred o but I want to give a try.. I hope to come back to this thread and give testimony..

Once again I’m sorry for Derailing o .. thanks

Note: I’m not going into this business cos of passion please. I’m going to it for 100% profit

How did you do this(bolded) bro?

You must be serving a very living God.
You would never had recovered your money back and with plenty sleepless night.
Hoodlum drivers will run you in sane
Ants drivers will kill your car in 6months and return carcass to you
LazyD will give you stories dt touch
If you drive yourself you won’t last 2weeks before you break down.

But they will say I’m discouraging people so I don keep quiet.

It depends, it happened to me once.
I later discovered riders can end trip and won't let you know, So what I did was to use the rider app to check the estimate.

God bless you for this, you didn't need to even fight....tell me your right address make we go.

was her eyes closed while you were driving?

.
Earlier in the day, I got a request from Isolo, destination showed CMS Grammar School, Somolu.

I picked the girls up and we didn't exchange any conversation from the start of the trip till we got to the school.

When we got there, I informed the one that booked, and she placed a call through to the person they came to see.....in the background I heard the lady they should drop and take a bike to Evans Street and ask for xxxxxx playground.

Immediately knew they were going to Lagos Island. I told her to ask if it's Lagos island, the lady at the other end of the phone said Yes...

So would they have blamed me for taking them to Somolu? And say they are not paying?

They respected their self, updated the address to marina and off we went. Collected my full fare.

.............................

Two Sundays ago, a lady order me to deliver cake from muritala Mohammed yaba to one address like that.

The address showed surulere when it came in, I picked up the cake and drove to destination, I called rider and told her where I was, she kept saying she's outside and can't see me.

How come, I stepped out of the car, she still didn't see me. So I read out the address to her, No 75, Bleep street, Aguda.

The girl exclaimed saying no oooo, she's at Ketu off TAC headquarters.

Mogbe. I quickly called the lady that booked and told her where I was and where receiver is. Na there I know say wahala go happen.

She updated the address to Ketu own, off I went. I got there and ride ended 5k.

Receiver was to pay for trip, she said they told her she was to pay 1500 for delivery how come I'm saying 5k.

Me I sha lock cake for inside car. After so much back n forth, sender sent 3k, receiver paid 2k. Before I dropped cake. I spent more than 1 hour there, I sha collected my money.
