Earlier in the day, I got a request from Isolo, destination showed CMS Grammar School, Somolu.

I picked the girls up and we didn't exchange any conversation from the start of the trip till we got to the school.

When we got there, I informed the one that booked, and she placed a call through to the person they came to see.....in the background I heard the lady they should drop and take a bike to Evans Street and ask for xxxxxx playground.

Immediately knew they were going to Lagos Island. I told her to ask if it's Lagos island, the lady at the other end of the phone said Yes...

So would they have blamed me for taking them to Somolu? And say they are not paying?

They respected their self, updated the address to marina and off we went. Collected my full fare.

.............................

Two Sundays ago, a lady order me to deliver cake from muritala Mohammed yaba to one address like that.

The address showed surulere when it came in, I picked up the cake and drove to destination, I called rider and told her where I was, she kept saying she's outside and can't see me.

How come, I stepped out of the car, she still didn't see me. So I read out the address to her, No 75, Bleep street, Aguda.

The girl exclaimed saying no oooo, she's at Ketu off TAC headquarters.

Mogbe. I quickly called the lady that booked and told her where I was and where receiver is. Na there I know say wahala go happen.

She updated the address to Ketu own, off I went. I got there and ride ended 5k.

Receiver was to pay for trip, she said they told her she was to pay 1500 for delivery how come I'm saying 5k.

Me I sha lock cake for inside car. After so much back n forth, sender sent 3k, receiver paid 2k. Before I dropped cake. I spent more than 1 hour there, I sha collected my money.
Lol, Felicity dey learn work for where you dey.

Our shikini palm oyel don dey get swags
Well dts to show that Exxon Mobil get some of us for mind

Mobil xhp now in 5ltrs -10k

You snap the oyel gallon.. Shame no let you snap that oil sipping, v4, factory defect, reject camry of urs..... tongue

Abi Lagos State task impound am ...

Now jokes apart.......

Since you are using xhp 20w50, it means you need to be changing your oil every 3k miles..Since you are doing uber, an uber driver covers at least 2k miles every month..

So technically you should be changing ur oil every month or so . so let's say every 2 months..... In essence its either your wasting money or ur engine is more than likely ur engine has a huge amount of sludge.... Either sludge or wasting money, 1 thing has to be happen......

Now if your camry was not a factory reject .. You could have use full synthetic like Mobil 1 Extended Performance or Super Tech Advance and do oil change every 10k miles..... And in the process save ur self money and time......

A lesson to all reading this. Before buying a car do your research . You might think u getting a good deal on car, but in the long run you paying more.........

As in, well it was 3:30 hours out of 4 hours sha, so 30 minutes for any mishaps which was cutting it close.

But the funny thing is I made sure I was online the whole time, but it seems Bolt only counts online when you are on a trip

No they don't, online is online not driving time. probably u were offline before the said campaign time or u went offline after at some point or after completing the number of trips u unknowingly went offline without waiting for the campaign time to complete.

The hours you’re online without trips don’t count.

mejai:

Truth!
I think from the tym u accepted request.

Incorrect...Everybody knows bolts campaign time requirement is online hours, not driving time. So even if u don't get any trip for 2hrs, provided u where online it will count when u eventually get and complete a trip.

Sha collect whatever was d estimate, if it's significantly lower then u report to Bolt. Bolt will add u. Cos rider will definitely not pay u more than estimate. Some will even claim that half way fare was the estimate.

I don't need to be tutored by any tout on how to be uncouth.

I started this way back before 99% of you. I was there when this thread started. I am one of those that started uber/taxify in Lagos. I did uber when I lost my first job. I am far older than 99% of people here. I graduated 2006. Served 2007/08. Got my first big job 2009. Did uber in 2014.

I ignore nonsense post, but I chose to correct you.

Let's be guided pls

Who's talking about age ot years of experience here?

You're the main reason most riders misbehave especially on the bolt app.

Your trip ended 2000 and driver is asked to collect N800, you gave driver 1k and driver only had N100 change, he asked you do a transfer instead since no where to get change in the middle of the night, you said you can't do transfer you later accepted to collect the N100 driver has and because of that you rated him 1 star...

You ordered a ride, driver arrived and clicked arrived at ur PUP, you got a notification on ur app that ur driver is outside waiting... U called instead of saying, "pls I'm on my way out" you're calling to quarrel driver you arrive why didn't you call? Driver asked you, since you called is there anything wrong? You hissed likr a snake, cut the call and cancelled...

You requested, driver arrived, called u with his own call card, instead of you to I'm outside looking for you you're asking stupid and senseless questions, "what's the color of ur car? What's your Reg No, what type of car is it? You for ask for my VIN na...

Even when a driver tries to correct or teach you or give you orientation in how things work with the app or about the google map they're so stupid and bossy to listen or to accept.

All they know how to do is rate 1 star, they think they're doing me they don't know they're actually reducing their chances of them not meeting every driver they meet again because giving 1 star means you and that person's path will never crosz again. Pray you never get stranded some day u go request only to discovered you've blocked all the drivers around you at that very time.

I doubt if online is online and not driving time I.
Have experienced this also and I will tell you it was only when I was driving in a trip time was added.
I began to wonder what’s going on.
Could it be the driving time or just online time used?
