You know right..

I personally know of someone I helped get his Visa after the 9th attempt, he has been in Canada close to 2 yeas now..

The last time I spoke with him, he said he cant really remember those refusal times, that the wonderful life of Canada has erased those memories..

So to get Visa is war, but once you enter Canada, with time you wont remember you waited for a year to get your Visa..

She is actually in the US. Does she need to pay money into my account or just submit a statement of account and sworn affidavits of support stating that should be financially assist with money if I have any emergency need for money during my school.

If you have all the listed below and decide to add your sister as co sponsor that would be fine as long as she doesn't have dependants I.e. children. They would calculate that the money she makes would be put towards her own family, hence if and when you need money from her it may not be available.

First, is your sponsor a 3rd party sponsor or not?

He/she will need to state the bolded in his/her Letter of sponsorship in a convincing way that the Visa officer will be rest assured that he/she will be committed to your studies in Canada.. You will also need to state it in your Statement of Purpose(SOP) and Letter of Explanation(LOE), make sure that part in your SOP and LOE is very clear and visible to the Visa Officer..

And if your sponsor is a 3rd party sponsor, please make sure you show your relationship with the said sponsor in your application, this is very important because of recent I have seen a GCMS note that showed the applicant was refused because the relationship of the Applicant and the 3rd party sponsor was not stated..

I submitted an additional document via nairobi webform last 2 weeks. And this was the message that popped up on the page after sending. I'm guessing it's a generic message. Does this mean that they have most likely received the document or am I supposed to get an email directly from IRcc that they received it?

Walk into any DHL or UPS store, you can google & check for the one's near you.

This is the Address you will mail your documents to:

Documents to go with to the DHL Office:

- Two photocopies of your international passport data page
- Your International passport itself
- passport request letter
- Biometric confirmation slip (the document you were given after u did your Biometrics)
-Two copies of signed vfs consent forms(fill and sign just the second page )

The vfs consent form is available at https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/usa/pdf/consent-form.pdf

Put everything in a Big Brown Envelope,

Write your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NO. & Email Address on the Envelope boldly

When you go to DHL, also indicate that you want a two way courier service. Then provide them the address you want your passport sent to when ready.
