It might depend on the airline.

Abeg my people that have travelled to the UK recently. Do we still need to do a predeparture PCR test before departing Nigeria for the UK?

Good evening house,

Please I need advise ooh, my wife and I are inviting my 21yr old niece to come visit us in the UK for christmas and new yr, we are sponsoring the trip and we helping her with the form filling as well sha via whatsaap , so basically there is a section it does ask
"How much money are you personally planning to spend on your visit to the UK?" Basically wifey and I are the ones sponsoring it. My wife says put £100 there as she cant be expected to fly out empty handed. I'm like put Zero are we given her the £100?.
There is also a section who is paying towards the cost of your trip and this is where we put how much we will be putting( all together flights plus small spending money).

Please any advise will be gratefull. Thank you all.

Hello nNairalanders please I need your advice and guidance.
I want to invite my Dad for my graduation coming up this month 18th November.
I know this is very close and of a very short timing.
My questions:
1. Can my Dad do priority for a visit visa?
2. What documents should we upload?
3. Is it okay if we state that he will be staying in the hotel during his visit?
4. He has had a 2years UK visit visa in the past is it okay if he still apply for a 2years again this time around?
4. My Dad has visited UK twice before and one of the visits we both went to the UK together then, does he still to attach my birth certificate?

I got an email saying this - Your UK visa application has arrived at the UK Visa Section tonight. Yesterday was day 6 post biometrics, today is day 7. Fingers crossed although my status already updated to being at DMC since 1 or 2 days post biometrics. This email is unusual because there’s always long silence from them until it’s time to pickup, maybe they’re trying to do things right this time grin

today makes it 23 working days : (4 weeks & 5 days)

today makes it 25 working days (5 weeks & 2 days fa) no mail nothing still @DMC

My questions:
1. Can my Dad do priority for a visit visa? YES
2. What documents should we upload? READ THE THREAD. basic is to establish relationship, establish reason for trip, show proof of accommodation for whole duration of trip, show proof of funds for the trip, show and prove why your dad will return to Nigeria after the graduation ie. Strong home ties. He can also use the rest of family members in nigeria tht will not travel for the grad as ties to Nigeria as he cnt abandon his family. this is not a list. I suggest u take ur time to read up
3. Is it okay if we state that he will be staying in the hotel during his visit? Very ok.
4. He has had a 2years UK visit visa in the past is it okay if he still apply for a 2years again this time around? Even 5 years or 10 years as long as he didnt flout the rules of his past visas
4. My Dad has visited UK twice before and one of the visits we both went to the UK together then, does he still to attach my birth certificate? Yes. Pictures etc are also helpful

Thank you Giselle, he will be partly spending some of his own money for the trip. But my brother wants to sponsor as he will be providing accommodation and every other need during his stay, as well as every necessary documentation, pls advice otherwise. Thank you.

There’s no other way except hoping for the best, the volume of applications they’ve received lately is overwhelming but at least they should adjust the timeline on their website to reflect the new circumstances.

Go online yourself and Google courses in IT then email the school directly.

Management has nothing to do with IT per say.Perhaps your agent might be working based on commission from the university.

Do not study what you don’t want.

Schools like Birmingham,Warwick,Lancaster and kings college offer that course,it is difficult because of the sensitivity but achievable plus you will make mad money.

Do not study what you don’t want.

Please did anyone do biometrics at Tls Ikeja on Thursday, September 30 and have gotten visa yet.
Standard to be exact
And a work visa too.
And yeah many that have gone via this route don't usually have delays like this.
I'll appreciate inputs, this wait is killing
