It’s most likely positive. Can you share the message you received here if you don’t mind?

Most likely a visa on a probability of 99.99.

mystikal:

It's not an approval per se. Just a notification from tls that a decision has now been made on my visa application and I will be able to collect my passport at tls centre

Regardless of the next available appointment dates, if you need the visa for traveling this December, I would advise you go the priority route otherwise…..mine took 8 weeks before I got a response. So, do the mathematics. Good luck!

Thank you

My passport with the visa was delivered to me this afternoon by DHL as I opted for the courier delivery. It took 8 weeks for me to get a decision on my application. Regardless, it ended in praise. Thanks to everyone who has been making this forum super-informative and lively too. Special thanks to @tutu89 or so and other gurus in the house for the support while I was packaging my application.

Documents submitted were:

Application form.
Bank statements (2 personal and 1 business)
Cover letter explaining some deposits that weren’t covered by receipts and also addressing my initial refusal.
Previous US & Schengen visas and Schengen residence and work permits
Business registration documents
Property documents (real and personal)
Family pictures
Kids’ birth certificates and tuition fees receipts
Professional certificates, both local and foreign.

Above all, just put God first while covering every loophole. I had fears about my company’s status showing “inactive” on CAC’s website but aside that, nothing else. However, it later turned out that much weight may not be attached to it after all, maybe depending on who handles the application.

Hope this helps. Good luck to all those expecting a response. It shall be according to plans.

Glad to hear it turned out good.

Good evening!
Please has anyone applied for UK Health and care (Skilled worker) immigration Visa recently?
Question: I realized that I can't find the section for Dependant details on my form and several attempts to detect any error I made while providing right details to the form prove abortive.
I seriously need assistance on how to fill the form so that the dependant details section will surface. Thank you in anticipation of your response.

Please I need urgent responses as she is having Ber biometrics tomorrow.

I applied on behalf of my mum inviting her to the UK, still at the stage of uploading her documents. But all documents needed is available.

Can I change this current application from standard to priority? (Because I have noticed that there is a serious delay in response from these visa people judging from experiences shared here and those of the people I know personally)

Or would I need to cancel outrightly, if I cancel this current one and begin another. How long will the refund take - I paid for standard visa and premium lounge (42k naira). I hope I will also be able to get a date this week with premium lounge.

Please I will appreciate a quick response.

Thank you all

Good evening house, please i need help urgently. i was denied USA visa in 2018,im not sure why, because the officer only asked if i was currently pregnant, i said no...then he said i was not eligible to go to usa, he didt even check my documents etc. i was given a green slip which i have lost over the years. although the international passport i used then had expired, im currently using a virgin passport for my uk visa application

im on the page where im asked if ive been refused visa before, should i include that information or i ignore it? since its not the same passport used? and since i really cant tell the reason why i was refused.

Hello all. I'm a health care worker in the UK, living with my husband. We want to apply for visiting visa for my mom.

She is 62
Not earning, no pension, no documents to prove house ownership as they are in the village.

What documents do we need to submit?
I already know we should include our payslips, proof of accommodation in the UK, my birth certificate, Bank statement..

And please how much should I have in my account to be able to prove I can take care of her?

Should we also put zero if asked how much she will spend or put on the trip.

Is there any need to prove home ties to convince home office she will return concerning her age?

I will appreciate answers.

I still need answers please

Good evening @Justwise, @tutu82, @gizelle37 and all the gurus here.
Please read my write up and kindly advise me on the next step to take. This is my story:

Submitted visa application: August 1.
Biometrics: August 23- Standard.
After 30 working days, when I didn’t hear any news, I sent a paid message and I got a reply that a decision had been made.
After 35 working days, sent another paid message, I was told that they’ve escalated my case and that I should wait for 15 working day’s from the date of my escalation to get a response.
Then 3 weeks ago, I got a BRP mail. Since then, nothing.
When it was 50 working days, I sent another mail, they said they have now re- escalated the issue and to wait for a response. 2 days later, I got a decision mail that visa has been approved. What baffles me is that the decision letter was dated August.
Since last week that the decision was letter sent to my mail, I’ve been tracking and still at DMC. Please how else can I escalate this matter? I paid for courier and passport has not been delivered yet.
Anyone that has been in my shoe before to kindly advise me as I don’t know what else to do. Thank you.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by esdajo: 11:04pm On Nov 03, 2021
The last paragraph though. Has the passport been delivered or not yet as you claimed it’s been delivered and I wonder what the issues might be.

I would say based on the information you provided in your application form, the consular officer did not find you eligible to enter the United States. Therefore it was not necessary to check your physical documents.

You cannot ignore a question you clearly know the answer to plus the fact US rejected you does not mean Uk will do the same.

Hi Ademidun1,

At this stage it is a bit puzzling but things are slow.

Can you ring Ukvi directly on +44 (0)203 875 4669?.They should be able to trace on the system what has happened and sort this mix up as against sending Emails which have not yielded results.

I hope this is all over soon.
