We need them back honestly, our LB positions need good experienced players else we'll be disgraced in the coming AFCON. These current players have been playing rubbish. We need ready made players to fill in for the new guys cos they don't seem to cut in games and have been misfiring. Which of our LBs can take shots like Taye Taiwo let alone score for the national team?

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
for more than 1 year I have been clamouring for Ighalo's return. What Rohr is seeing now I have seen for over two years. I knew our young lads will not do well without the experienced guys.

Don't you think we need taiye taiwo or echijele back in the super eagles?
Zaidu is inexperience uno
They two are not Ighalo, they have retired. Ighalo, not Salah, not Mane, not Mahrez is the current holder of AFCON golden boot, put some respect on his name.

Tim akinola tipped to make the leap to arsenals first team. Aggressive, strong, fast and skillful box to box midfielder, very similar to Lille’s renato Sanchez. Rumour has it that he wants to rep Nigeria instead of England

One for the future

Oga Charles, that rumours go turn lie if he eventually tie down a spot in the starting 11. Remember Saka too dey famzy Naija when he still dey make cameos for first team, till he eventually tied down a starting spot, na then he change mouth. Btw where’s Adarabioyo? That boy wey think say he been prime Ramos. grin grin

Ok let us start the talk again for the sake of it.
Who is better between Tim akinola and alhassan Yusuf of Royal Antwerp.

Exactly....we can't drag players with england,d earlier we realise,d better

Its just like a young fresh graduate giving d opportunity to pursue is career as an electrical engineer to work with eida shell(england) or become a physics teacher(Nigeria) in a school
Who you go choose

But when d opportunity is not dere..den d graduate has no choice but to settle for less;physics teacher(nija grin)

akinola is still a youth team player and yet to taste first team football but with reviews from the arsenal youth set up he is tipped for big things

Comparing both doesn’t make sense though they hv similar playing style alhassan is already playing men’s football while the arsenal youngstar is yet to taste that level of football

Have trained couple of times with the first team and having Arteta as a big admirer I believe he may get a chance in the first team maybe in cup games this season
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 11:04pm On Nov 03, 2021
All this ‘shebi I tell una gang’ cheesy

Akinola is rumored to have interest in playing for Nigeria but that doesn’t mean he is not open to playing for England as well

For now he is doing well with Arsenal’s 23 and since he has made it known of his intents to play for us his progress is worth monitoring

He is already confirmed the fastest player in arsenal

On Ighalo's invitation, well, Rohr knows his players better than we do. We can only analyse based on what we see on the screens.

Rohr obviously still rates Ighalo and still doesn't have much confidence on Onuachu who has not really been consistent in the national colours.
I think what is on-ground is actually the opposite. Rohr does not know the players (more like how to use them) and his only solution is to go old school in his approach. Conservative play.

The likes of Iheanacho, Osimhen, Chidera, Chukwueze, Iwobi are players selected and groomed for offensive-possessive play.

After the incident with Central African Republic, Rohr is likely to switch to a more negative style from the back. He wants to keep it compact at the back as much as possible and utilize Ighalo as a lone striker upfront.

Even Onuachu relies a lot on team play before attacking the box.

Liverpool winning Atm is not surprising to anyone unless you are new to football

7th placed team in Spain also beat 2nd place English team last season grin

The most surprising thing on the champions league this season is sheriff beating Madrid and young boys beating man united

Hahahahaha. There's freedom of speech now. But while at it stay disciplined and remember team play. That's what most coaches do ask for.

Recalling ighalo back to d team is one thing but starting him ahead of osimhen is madness.
He won't try such thing.

That's another thing but,
players like ronaldinho, ejuke, neyma, okocha, hazard etc, don't always play to instructions,
they will always find a way to do their things.

Nice player but I see nothing special here, just another regular dribbler who is obsessed with backflips. I am more impressed with what I saw in Yusuf Alhasan and still hoping for Mikel Obi kind of midfielder.
