Just like others, the goal for some of us, is to use that route to relocate legally so we don't make mistakes of choosing a university that isn't licensed to sponsor the PSV. If she apply alone now can myself and kids use same statement of account to apply for our own once her visa is out or fund must be move to my own account and count 28 days to apply (this is what someone is telling me).

There are no special rules regarding when to calculate the 28 days.. But presumably u can start counting immediately u start applying for admissions... Because some schools need POF before they can issue u CAS

Don’t worry, you would be asked to confirm all your details again when you go for your appointment. You can change it at that point

Project management is a very wide course. Go for it people with poorer qualification than you are their.. just try and Google schools that are stil accepting

You're playing with fire, looks like you have so much money to waste on visa fees and others. If you know what's good for you, since there is enough POF for the entire family, apply together at once. Most folks that have been residing in the UK for a long time including that your sister giving you bad advice are not up to date with current visa rules and home office regulations which keep changing.

Print from the day after so that the lump sum deposited in your account will not show.
It is better that way and makes ur application easier to consider.
No lump sum deposit, no red flag, just a regular account with regular transactions.

Sidenote, it would have been better if u made a transaction the day after u made ur deposit (even if it is N500 naira) because from the software that most banks use to generate ur account statement, the dates that will appear on ur statement of account are dates of transaction.

Example:
1)You made a lump sum deposit on the 1st of November

2) the next transaction u make is on the 7th of November

Now, if you try to print your statement from the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,or 6th of November (in order to avoid the deposit of the lump sum u did on the 1st of November to show in ur account statement,
[/color]The starting date that will be on ur statement of account will be 7th of November as ur account didn't record any activity on the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th and 6th. [color=#990000]
In other words, u can not see:
-N0 transaction on 2nd November
-N0 transaction on 3rd November
-N0 transaction on 4th November
-N0 transaction on 5th November
-N0 transaction on 6th November. In essence, those dates will not appear on ur account statement because u had no transaction on those days. So, nothing to capture.

This means that ur 28 days statement computation/counting will be affected if u decide not to show the lump sum deposit as 2nd to 6th November (5 important days in the life of your application) will not be captured in ur statement of account.

Hope this helps.

This is only correct if the bank doesn't debit the customer with the 50 naira stamp duty charge.

That will make the next day (First day of POF) appear on the account statement with the stamp duty charge

maybe you don’t understand, the POF is talking about here is the balance of your tuition fees plus your living expenses when you get to the UK. If your school request for POF before they issue CAS, that means you have to start building your acct to maturity stage which is the 28days. You can start doing that as soon as you receive you offer letter, just to make it fast.

Hello everyone.

If I have 2k discount from the University. Can I subtract it from my POF or do I need to provide the complete Tuition.

If the money is already in your account, you don't have to resume counting afresh. Just count 28 days backward.
Put simply, the money should have been in your account for atleast 28days(Ur School fees and Maintenance). Lets say you already have this money reading in your account and you get an admission that requires you to submit 28days statement, u can print for the period of 28 days I.e from 5/10/2021 - 3/11/2021 and submit to school. If you get a CAS say after one week, you can still submit same statement to embassy for VISA if the stated end date of statement hasn't exceeded 31 days.
Then say your fees is 14,000 and you paid a deposit of 4,000 , what u need as your POF is 10,000+your maintenance.
I hope it's explicit enough?.
This is based on my understanding though.
