This’s true. Howere, tourism/pleasure is Owerri’s thing. What I think it needs is diversification in tourism. Tourism doesn’t start and end with hotels/bars... a need for an adventure park, a big recreation/Game Center, sports center, top notch art/gallery all adds to tourism. And also having a tour bus isn’t a bad idea, so that visitors can tour the cit and also be taken to landmark areas. Another things is tech, tech also helps bring up hospitality too. How far have you gone in making IMSG to build skyscrapers and flyovers and possibly, underground metro transportation system, in your Owerri, while floods ravage rest of the towns, mostly Orlu, of Imo state, because IMSG can’t build common central drainage system in Orlu and in other towns in Imo state? It appears they've completed the beach they were creating along the banks of Oguta lake last time I was there.

Top notch facilities there but lack of good access road between Owerri and Oguta is making it difficult for it to be optimally patronized.
