Hi All,

Please is there anyone here going to or already in Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia? I really will like us to connect . With the rate at which dollar is rising , Paying Dalhousie school fee via Western Union global pay is really killing, Form A would have really helped a lot .
I really would love to know if there is another way to pay the fee ?
Please, can you share the tuition fees for 2 years MSC
Also, did you get scholarship or tuition assistance from Dalhsousie uni before resuming?

1. No idea
2. You can reach out to me
3. Download Barter by flutterwave application via playstore. Install the app and fund the virtual dollar card (at black market rate). Then use the virtual dollar card details to pay for the visa fees.

Please can you share the tuition for Dalhousie 2 years course based masters
ALso, please can i get a tuition scholarship from the school before i resume for my first session

Hello Concate

Where are the 2 students? call them out to come tell the house how they did theirs.. You are the only one talking about it and it seems many here do not really understand all what you have been saying..

Its either you call the students here to come drop the guidelines through which they successfully did theirs or

You give a comprehensive guideline here which applicants here can easily understand and do it themselves.. Let applicants here benefit from this new way..

You can also drop a link on the IRCC website where IRCC stated that application on Study permit can also be done on this portal..

Peace

Timeline: Long Post Alert!!!

I actually typed some of this in faith on 27th July in anticipation of PPR cheesy thank God I get to post it now.

First Time applicant. Virgin passport sef
Got admission for a funded program in Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia for an LLM. The scholarship was just enough to cover my school fees though, so I was still left to provide funds for living expenses.
Admission tips: I actually followed Dr. Linda Iheme's you tube tips on getting scholarship programs. I am glad it worked out on my first trial.

I gathered the necessary documents I needed. My only problem became proving my funds for living expenses. I got a Deed of gift from my dad of about 12k CAD which would technically be the major fund in my account upon the transfer of the cash. That was my fear throughout the entire wait. But what I ensured, courtesy of the free advice being thrown around in this forum, was that I proved hat my husband and I were established in our own way. I submitted my Husband’s travel history, his Cac documents, my salary account, my identification as a Lawyer etc. I just wanted to pass the message that I am not relying entirely on my father, that my husband "who I refused to show his account statement" is still capable of supporting me. I backed all this up with lots of prayers, Rosary and Novenas and a well structured SOP. I am good at writing. Thank you. Did I mention I also wrote my father's letter of support and my husbands spousal consent letter where I wrote from their point of view all geared towards giving a firm foundation to the buildings I erected in my SOP? My only problem became the uploading part. Unfortunately, I am not tech savvy at all, and I can't help it. Luckily, I got the help of someone I contacted from here "Blavkmaan I hail o" who helped with all those compressions and uploading stuff. Not without discarding some of my 'prized' documents o which he deemed as unnecessary. And then, the wait began...

In all, I give all Glory to God who have deemed me worthy to enter an international flight for the first time. See you all in Canada! Much love from here

Docs submitted In addition to those listed up:
Client info:
Admission letter
LLB Certificate
BL certificate
Letter of past introduction from my Lawyer ( it was for this purpose, for obvious reasons)
Sample of my Lawyer's stamp to indicate active practice of Law.
Proof of fund:
My SOA
Funding letter
A fixed deposit certificate from where I spinned the narrative that my father fixed the stated sum in anticipation of my admission. The money was transferred the next day after the collapse of the deposit to my account and i pointed it out on my SOA. I didnt show my dad's SOA though.
Home Ties:
Marriage certificate.
Son's birth certificate
I also indicated my shares in my husband's CAC documents. Nevermind the company is not active o wink

Thank you all for your active support and advice on this forum. Especially JustMellow, Blavkmaan, Frank robben etc
Finally, i did this entire process myself, from admission to PPR courtesy of this group. We have a treasure here guys, let's make maximum use of it and for those with PPR already, let's keep the thread alive by giving back to what made us.

Oh, for those still waiting, goodluck guys, it will go round. Don't underestimate your emails and webforms. It worked for me cos trust me, I bombarded them this past two weeks though none of it ever got acknowledged.

Please pardon all typos.
Thank God for success,
Im inspired.

Good morning.

1. Please for those that traveled recently, what are the exact documents you had to present at airport (departure) and point of entry?

2. Like how much dollar will be okay to take along? US dollar or Canadian dollar? And how did you get it?
?

Will really appreciate your response.

Abi, i don't understand. If truly you do not need help on whatever is related to Canada here, you have no place here. At the end you will still be advocating for stingy people.

Simple thing, admit we are all here to assist one another. Who knows in the nearest future, we could do better than this. The main reason Nigeria can never be great.

You keep taking and never give back. Awon ajelojuonile.

Good day, any July applicants here waiting for PPR? I submitted in July and got a request for updated letter of admission and medicals in September which I did and had medicals passed in October but since then I haven’t heard anything back. I’m getting worried. The status of the additional document says “the additional documents provided has been uploaded “ and that’s it.

Thanks so much bro, well noted.

Don't apply to that school cos they don't offer PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit) eligible programs and that's not good for you if you intend staying in Canada after your studies.

There are lots of disadvantages applying to a school that doesn't offer PGWP eligible programs.

In your best interest, apply to a school that offers PGWP eligible programs.

Let the gurus shed more light on the implication of a applying to a school that doesn't offer PGWP

Hello Guys,
Please I a message last night that my medicals has expired and I have to do another one as I can't travel this is the content of the mail
You are receiving this notification because our records show that your medical examination
results have expired. This means you cannot travel to Canada.
You must have valid immigration medical examination results to travel to Canada if you either
 have been in a designated country/territory for more than 6 months OR
 plan to study or work in a health care, child or elder care, or primary or secondary
education setting

Is it necessary because their are no dates available

Hi, the tuition will depend on the particular course based program you intend to study.
Please note that course based programs do not receive scholarship. Research based masters are eligible for scholarships (although you still have to be competitive in order to be awarded the scholarship as it's not automatic).
All the best.
