Not because of tribe or anything and if na religion I’m a Christian but when I look at Lagos compared to other states in Nigeria. I wish he can place that Midas touch on Nigeria. We need to better the economy. Everybody can not be running to Lagos. I mean imagine if Tinubu didn’t plan Lagos?
I rest my case.

Modified: Everyone is supposed to mention their choice but I have over 40 mentions for saying my own is Tinubu. I can’t reply all of you Tinubu haters today we meet another day.
By the way why are you all singing the same song today. I never hear so much people disagree on Tinubu’s touch on Lagos or his ability to govern.
E be like na the new update from una last meeting?

Which of the lagos are u looking at? The one that has area boys collecting money from all corners? Or the lagos that has foreigners( Mali and niger) running bikes and causing havoc in the city. Is it the lagos that your toothless lion is the governor (sanwo olu)
My dear Tinubu doesnt have what it takes to rule a country like Nigeria. Do you think the military will even take orders from him. He should go to his mansion and relax. Anyway I see a repeat of MKO. He was warned but refused to listen.

Omg!! That's really bad. What's a worker without salary!!! What's a man without money!!?

We on the other hand like him cos of his boldness..his boldness to look at the Hausa Fulani in the face...that's the kinda person, southerner we need as president.

Every thing you said is true but for your choice of El-rufai. He is a very cunny man and cannot be trusted. PMB came in shouting restructuring and corruption, look the support he got nut when he came in his language changed. El rufai is the Pro max version of Buhari and what is more dangerous,he is more intelligent and woke which is a dangerous mix with deception and been cunny.

What has been his contribution/position on the farmers/herders clashes, until recently, what was his position on banditry?

El rufai would never drive a constitutional review at least not in the way the south desires it.

Like I have said elsewhere, I only mentioned ElRufai because he is the only Northerner I can think of who is smart enough to know that unless Nigeria is restructures the North will eventually have no Nigeria to rule over. He is also probably the most influential Northern politician.

Whether he is a devil or not, a devil who delivers constitutional change is better than a saint who will preside over the status quo for another 8 years.

Even before 1999, lagos was filled with people from all walks of life..
Lagos was a former federal capital, housing all govt agencies, ministries, parastatals and most iocs.
Lagos house the only seaports in Nigeria, those facilities were develooed by the federal govt of Nigeria...
The murtala mohammed international airport was built by federal govt of Nigeria..
There is no airport built by lagos state govt for the past 20yrs.
States like delta, akwaibom, taraba, anambra, even small ebonyi don build airport from their meagre income.
Fourth mainland bridge is still on paper and billboards but not on ground, 3rd mainland bridge was constructed by federal govt.
So many facilities in lagos were done by federal govt.
With the trillions lagos generates yearly, lagos should be miles ahead of other states, lagos should be having their own NIPP distributing power to the entire lagosians 24/7 daily, lagos shouldnt have wait for buhari to connect its state with oyo state by rail.
So show me what specific and outstanding infrastructures built by LASG these past 20yrs?

Go back and read my previous submission again.
Even the restructuring, i strongly doubt that El Rufai will agree to restructuring even if he does, it will never be in accordance with the current yearnings. The case of the PIB (where the north gave the impression that they are acceding to the demands of the south only to further entrench their interests) is a very good and recent example.

Then we shouldn’t give ourselves headache over who becomes president because whoever is in charge we will sink.

A personality will not change the inevitable path Nigeria is on, only a restructure can, if we can’t get that then debating who becomes president is simply asking a death row prisoner which executioner or method of death you prefer.

your opinion, my opinion.....

Without digressing or going back and forth, the point is the issue of the constitution is more important than person of who is in office...in fact it should be the only issue. Without addressing the former, the latter will have no meaningful effect.

Airport nko, is it still in exclusive list?
Lekki seaport has been approved since, has it been completed?
Let's be frank, most of infrastructures in lagos were done by private individuals.

Lagosians are mostly selfmade... Na now lagosians don dey opened to assessing what really is happening in government.
Thats why we r having like 3 apc factions already.
The lagos for lagos, tinubu and ambode factions..
Tinubu did nothing in Lagos, he hide under obasanjo's seizure funds to local govt to escape his frailty and failure.
Under the present laws, states don't have powers to create any local govt or development areas, that's what brought about the imbroglio between obasanjo govt and lasg

All ports be they land, air or sea.....it is the exclusive rights of the FG.....you as a state building airport is like buying transformer, you paid for it but the momment you commission it it becomes property of Nepa.....so if you like build 20 airports in your state you will still have to surrender it to the federal government.....and LOL all lagos factions have been collapsed into one, please remove ambode from there he is a non entity....someone that shat the bed so bad that he lost party primary election is the one that wants to be forming faction, I laugh in Epe grin

Ibom airport was built, run, managed, controlled by the state.. Its been more than 10yrs now and counting...

Lagos can still build a private hanger for commercial and private purpose to decongest traffic along that ever busy airport road.

Bi-courtney also runs MMA2 doesn't mean they don't answer to FAAN, if you like build it, run it, set it on fire, you will still report to FAAN. because without them who will give you the license you need? plus all taxes generated at the ports whether name you build am or not, or whether name you determine run am still go to FG not state.....
