Let me help with just 2 Screenshots.. WhatsApp calls are just fucking cheap and reliable.. I really don't get errors that much and, even i if eventually get a network glitch, it rectifies within 10 seconds..

No, you can insert ur sim card into your ear, then you are good to go.

For efficient WhatsApp calls, Both parties must have good internet at their end. Otherwise it wouldn't be a smooth call.

Truth be told, the people without android phones are more than those without. And if you go through your WhatsApp you'll find out that most of the important calls you make are in your WhatsApp. Though I still understand your point of you. You have a very good vision, but you see this vision will take up to 50yrs more to manifest in Nigeria reasons are:
Not everyone has data enabled phone.

Those that have a data enabled phone, not all of them can operate it.

Those that can operate data enable phone can be in a rural setting with a very poor network connection.

High cost of purchasing data by some people.

Poor or lack of adequate power supply to keep your phone alive.

Those with a good phone and data, how many dey on the data?. Some people na off and on data Dem dey do.

Lastly internet call can never match normal call in Nigeria in terms of voice clarity Dem nor near.

We could make long calls to up to 40 mins minimum. So do you still support we do it on normal calls?

and you don't have same when when making normal calls?... I believe this is an eye opener for everyone,and people will now try to bypass the regular calls even if its only our loved ones for now. this issue cannot be overemphasized....

If only we've got a better and truthful service providers,most people would have ditched normal calls because most internet serices we get here are below par when compared to other countries. And for the normal calls, the signal is a bit better.

For WhatsApp call, both parties get to pay for the data, I quite agree it's cheaper for the voice call than the normal phone call buh the WhatsApp video call consumes extremely high amount of data.

Nigeria doesn't have stable internet service and not everyone has a smart phone so it would still take some years before we all can switch to full data calls like we have overseas

the question is: why do we double spend on data and airtime when we could accomplish the goal with data?

You should have airtime reserve for emergencies only and not for making long calls.

Sometimes you will call and it will go well no feedback and no delay and sometimes boom you will looking for where to put your phone to get good network.
