Chiziteremary: Please i have another question if u dont mind. I have read the timelines of the people that got ppr. I havent seen anyone who made payment for accommodation or made any accommodation arrangements before ppr landed. Is that not a requirement for obtaining student visa. Pls reply biko Its not a requirement. I did secure accomodation before I applied. But that's was a personal choice. I didnt want to look for accommodation too late that's all. |

Chiziteremary: Hello NorthernShore TS,
The fact that your daughters US passport is expired should not affect your application in my thinking. I know that US citizens do not need a visa to go to Canada. i beleive the most important thing is to attach her birth certificate which shows she's a citizen. U can also state that you are in the process of renewing her passport. Even if they will be needing u to send the passport, i beleive that will be later when the ppr has been approved.
I am not a guru. Pls let the gurus respond too Thank you so much. I am most grateful for your input. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by NorthernshoreTS(m): 12:58pm On Nov 25, 2021 |
jollytravels:
Let me quickly chip in this ...your wife should be your main focus cos of her study permit application... you may want to make mention of your daughter as accompanying your wife in her SOP...and in the documents submission for your wife you can just include her birth cert...you dont need to include her US passport since she doesn't need a visa to enter Canada.
From my experience I just added my daughter US birth cert in my application...and take note renewal of Us passport is 13days ...I did the renewal some few months ago in abuja...you may try checking abuja appointments for earlier dates.
And let's say paraventure they will ask for it Jan is round the corner maybe you would have gotten it then..but I strongly believe they may not ask for it...
Goodluck Thanks for the insight. Will do as you have said. |

The words may be for a more private discussion with the recipient. Please dont feel people hate you its just that for some it comes out raw and others seasoned. All the best babe Estherseth23:

Hello Seyi If you really wanna go for a course related to your HND instead of your work experience, you have to really convince the Visa Officer on the reason why you wanna go for that course. Let the Visa Officer know how the course will be beneficial to you in your home country... Loving a course is not enough reason to convince the Visa Officer, in fact, its not a reason.. Let the Visa Officer see the benefits and opportunities the course will provide you on your return to your home country.. Peace seyiki: Dear Makano,
Thanks so much for your quick response.
1.I got my HND this year 2021
2. My job description was around production team lead and thereafter I moved into maintenance section as a maintenance leader
3. As for the reason I went for HND electrical, I really love electrical engineering and have a great flair for the associated courses from outset but couldn't practice in the company then because of company protocol and some stuff
I hope this suffice for now sir, but wouldn't hesitate to send you my detailed CV if it is so needed.
