Good day everyone. Please I have a question. If an applicant submitted an application and stated to travel to the uk for a period of two weeks, November15-30, did biometric October 13, and decision has not been made yet on his application till maybe the end of his travel date. Like today is Nov 25 already. What is it likely to happen. Please I want as many as possible opinions please. Thank you

Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting us,
Following the recent relaxation of travel restrictions, note that UKVI is currently under extremely high pressure globally, as visa demand has significantly increased.
This means that processing time is taking longer than the published service standards.
Please be advised that TLScontact cannot provide you with an exact date as to when your passport will be ready for collection.
Once received back, the Visa Application Centre will notify you via email whether you can pick it up in person or if it will be sent back to you via courier (where applicable).
You can also check the status of your application in your profile on https://www.gov.uk/
If your request is extremely urgent, you can seek assistance from UK Visas and Immigration via contact UK Visas and Immigration . Please note that this is a chargeable service for overseas customers.

Please reply to this message within 15 days if you need additional information or clarification regarding your request.
Make sure you click on "reply" button when you send us an additional question. Otherwise our Contact Center representative will not be able to receive your response and process it accordingly.

If one should cancel the application.
Is it gonna take long to get back the passport? Because I think once the passport is at Abuja if they cancel the application to send back the passport should not take long. Please anyone who’s cancel his visa application before should please assist here as I don’t mind to loose the visa fee etc because really this is getting too much.

It takes 15 working days to cancel an application so you probably won't get your passport before your travel date. I still believe your passport will get to you before your travel date; it's over 30 days already right?

Same as daughter's application. I know it's hard but just be patient. There's literally nothing that can be done right now.
I believe your passport will be returned either tomorrow or within next week.
