Secure the job first as the future looks bleak for job seekers in Nigeria.Since you are in 200L,well you could lose a year during the course of your training.

After ur training ensure you are deployed where your school is domiciled,an arrangement can be fashioned between yourself and your boss if he is understanding. You maybe lucky and get a schedule that affords you the opportunity to complete ur degree.

You may later tender your certificate with proper guidance and be upgraded to an Assistant Superintendent of police (ASP).

GOOD LUCK.
No one will upgrade you in police

Baba face your degree and leave police work alone.

See what happened to an ex-sars official

https://www.thecable.ng/ex-sars-operative-denied-asylum-in-canada-for-contributing-to-police-brutality/amp

Nigerian police officials have a very bad reputation outside Nigeria.

This is a very wrong time to join police

Abobi, don’t you ever listen to these efulefu cowards. Join the job but don’t lose ur focus.

Count one before u count two

All fingers are not equal

A lot of good people with good moral standard and public values plenty in police but don’t join the few who extort innocent Nigerians but be the change that these cowards yearn for

There's no honour amongst police in this part of the world. You want to bring generational curse upon yourself and family.

If you get the job....
Waive your program for a year

After training...

Work your posting to Sango Div or any division near UI

Then you continue with studies

I'm sure your Boss would give you leverage

What's education for you. Only in Nigeria that you see people going to school just to secure job. Education cannot give you money but it can help to be productive.

Education didn't give Obi Cubana money but it help him to be productive and successful

So OP should better complete his education before thinking about other stuff after all if he go for police na korofo he go end

Be wise man
A wrong advice. It's like you've not been in the labour market. You probably got a soft landing after graduation. OP if your certificate is not SSCE then dust it off and go make use of your opportuninity. Oh yes! You can still study.

This country is tough no doubt. Moreover, there's no job for graduates. However, dropping out of school to join police force with his ssce isn't an option. If it was degree, fine!

I'd advice him to continue with his studies

The army cannot grant you leave to go for studies. The army is short of personnel and there are insecurity going on in almost all the 36 states in Nigeria.Yes the pay and allawee has been increased.Meanwhile the topic is police recruitment not the army.
