Lol! This is so funny, I couldn't help but laugh hard.

It's not the end of the world though. Even the disciples of Jesus once tried to do same but embarrassingly failed, hence they had to ask Jesus who succeeded, how He was able to do it.

So if at first he didn't succeed, he should do what the disciples of Christ did, to correct where he got it wrong before he tries again. He may succeed at the next attempt.

He got it wrong because he didn't hear from God to pray for the man. He acted based on his feelings/pity for the man and not because the urge came from the Holy Ghost. There's no way God would tell you to do a thing and that thing turn out to be a failure, especially in a case as this. What's happening here only depicts what's going on in the body of Christ today. Anyone can simply wake up and start running a church with claims that God called them, but can't demonstrate the character of the one that called them at any time.

Do not be too hasty to draw such conclusions.

I don't know who the man is, but just because he failed then doesn't mean he wasn't sent or directed by God to do so. If you really knew the ways of God, you would know this.

The instance i gave of Christ's disciples proves a man can fail an attempt[b] even if God sent him[/b].

I just remembered this and shared it on another post before seeing this your comment. So, I think that you need to know about it too...

One day, a 7-year-old girl stole and drank ethanol to excess (I think they said a whole bottle of it). She became unconscious. After taking her to a clinic and she couldn't be revived, everyone lost hope. I came around and felt the urge to pray for her. I didn't want to look like a pastor. So I prayed in my heart. All of a sudden, my right hand seemed to get up by itself and landed on the girl's forehead and she opened her eyes, got up, and was revived.

Another day, I went to pray for a man who was bedridden - thinking that the power that revived the girl was still with me. But, IT DID NOT WORK. I was ashamed of myself and never went near the man's house again because I took away the man's China-made walking staff 'out of faith'

I thought over the two events and I realized this...

On the day that the girl was revived, I had been praying intensely and fasting throughout the day. But, on the day I prayed for the bedridden man, I had been working on a farm, eating, and discussing with people.

Spiritual power is real. But, YOU must make yourself ready to become a conductor of it.
