Come how come no one is talking about the high rate if unemployment that's coming along with the proposed removal of subsidy by our almighty APC government. The same subsidy they claim doesn't exist during the PDP time oh.

Many of us will go out of jobs because riders will japa oh due to high fare and increase of spare parts also as a result of high cost of transportation.

From next month or there about we should be looking at buying fuel at about N600/L

Pearl1910, how do u explain this?
I got a request from Ajah(zenith bank, mega chicken) to amuwo odofin on a surge on Thursday. On getting to kunsela axis, Bank notified the rider he had an issue, we turned back and went to the bank, ended trip. The guy rebooked again, same destination, spent 30 mins, then Bolt sent me a message asking me if all is well, that they noticed I have not moved. I responded in the positive.
Then yesterday, throughout my waiting tym almost 1hr plus, they didn't notify nor ask me but to take that decision.

Try make a request from your phone and see if it get to you.

Youself try pay them their money na abi you no won pay nigrin the moment your -ve balance is exceeding 4500 your trip request will gradually be limited to so try pay some amount or add your card to your riders account then request and make sure it gets to u... Arrive let the wait paid time gets to 2hrs on a 1.9x or 4hrs. Start the trip then end it after like 5min without moving. That way your -'ve balance will be offset.

If you make payment today don't just borther it will be till Monday b4 it will reflect on ur account.

Lastly, check to see if yiur inspection is still valid. These are some of the reasons you may not be receiving trip requests.

Good luck.

Menh this Sun na die today ooh... Me I don park for optima filling station Idimu Rd, I can't come and kill myself.
. Guy, na Benz you dey drive abi Brenz? This one wey you just dey drive your cAR go all the Lungu for Lagos, you go soon spoil your motor.

Borale engine my mum bought few months ago for her ML was 150k in osogbo. Could even be cheaper at Lagos

Felicity0001:

I don't have an idea of how much these thing cost since I don't have any need for them.

The ine I made enquiry about is the engine and transmission. Complete engine for the M271, M111 Kompressor is around 120k -150k borale or what do you guys call it is around 70k. Gear box is 60-80k.

I bought a tokunbo condenser 3weeks ago 8k... Gave mechanic money to get it ni o asking price for brand new one is 20k.

Radiator water can is 4k/5k for tok new one is 10-12k to 15k depends on ur negotiating power.

Complete evaporator with vent and all I gave my mechanic 15k to replace it.

Stabilizer linkage rod I bought it tok 4k, my panel guy spoilt it while trying to burn out the linkage.

These r the prices I've first hand info on for now

Took a trip from 6th avenue to UBA house yesterday too, the rider requested I take Ago and oshodi because 1 person is stopping at ago and the other at gbagada... ended the trip at marina and it was 8700 without updating the trip... I think phones used matters too..
Pearl1910:

But what I am saying is the truth sha.
Some issues are within our control...use a good phone, up-to-date App, good internet connection etc.

For example last night I did a trip freedom way, Lekki to Ago Palace that trip should be about 4k. Got to Ago, Rider say host is not picking call I should take her to a good hotel. I told her d only safe place I know is in Ajao Estate. She agreed and we proceeded. Got to Ajao and ended trip and fare was 5,900.
I think this short story just explains my point and my stands. Lekki to Ago cannot be 6k, midnight no traffic, less than 45mins trip.
Lekki to Ajao also cannot definitely be 6k. As will be insinuated that it's Lekki to Ajao that will be calculated if I don't end d trip in d first location.
My trip calculated well well throughout from Lekki to Ago and back to Ajao and my money was complete.

You have to owe above 7k before you can be restricted to card trips only ..

Try to book yourself with a bolt app on cash and see if it will come to you, if it didn't and you are sure you owe them less than 7k...check your data connection and ensure location service is on.
It's not so with every driver.

Mehn, today would have been the first time I walk a rider outta my car. But she behaved well.

Was at Ago palace after dropping off a rider. Got a request to Yaba left. As I was approaching her street, I noticed they were fixing the road. Immediately her call came in and she told me about the road repair. In my mind, I was like, why didnt you call me earlier to update me. Small vex enter me. She sha directed me to take another street which I did via map.

Meanwhile, I already swiped arriving now oh when I first entered her street coz I was already 2mins away from PU before seeing the road construction.

Fast forward to when I got Into her street, I was at no 72, called her that I'm outside...she said no oh, i have to turn back that she's at no 62. I don dey vex already but stayed calm. I sha had to turn back inside that tight street. Got to PU...waiting another 8-10mins inside hot sun AC. Meanwhile, waiting time don dey count oh.

After about 8-10mins , she came out, me I sha bone face. I nearly walked her outta my car but she was carrying her baby. She saw my countenance and started apologising for the delay. I just told her I was expecting you to had come out when I told you I was at no 72 and you told me to turn back to no 62. That it's not fair that I had to wait another 10mins but it's fine. But she still apologized n explained she was busy with something. Apparently, she was packing her baby stuffs. So, I became calm sha.

Supposing she had mistakenly said shebi shes the one paying n bullshit crap or she gave I dont care attitude. Omo, I would have activated 3mins madness and cancel at the front of her gate. The sun was too hot for someone to be doing anyhow.

I sha started the trip and after feeding her baby, sleep carry am go coz there was traffic n she seem tired. Got to yaba left n woke her up.

Ended the trip n She did transfer n thanked me... but I didnt bother to confirm coz where I was parked, I no sure of the place. So I drove off.

Few mins later I checked n still haven't gotten alert...omo!

Called her n she said she would send me her debit alert. After few mins, she called back n said they haven't debit her that she would send it. I sha said okay. Few mins later when I was close to home, I got alert.....

I don close shop.

Tomorrow is another ginger day. Still waiting for the first rider I'll cancel n walk outta my car...lol.

Thats the beauty of a Benz how would one spend almost half a million buying just an engine and we celebrate it like it's a blessing, you can't park ur car and sit comfortably in a bar to drink one bottle just so they don't vandalize ur car. Its just so annoying. That cartoon of a car 2006 model with over 200,000miles selling for 3million... Just imagine the level of madness

Gud evening all.

Please what can I do to increase my rating, I think bolt app is not working well. Despite riders giving me 5 star, my rating refuse to come up o. They sent message to me 3 days ago that my rating is low and send tips on how to improve on it.

Also, many times they don't include all my trips, I might have done 8 trips but on my app it will be showing 5 trips. This has made me lost some bonuses.
Please gurus in the house...help.

Lastly how do I report a rider or an issue to bolt? Please help with the email.
Thanks

Below image is just to motivate some one out there struggling with low rating and thinking how to improve it .

The 4.48 was 13th of march
The 4.93 is today 31st of march.

As at 13 of march I was a little bit worried and just knew I need to do some things and see how it toss.

1. I fixed a little sound coming from my silencer (no customer complained of it though, but I just assume it could be a reason, as I am an easy going service person)

2. I ensure after all trips, I give you a parting compliment ( enjoy the rest of your day, have a great night rest, have a safe trip).

3. I filter trips a lot now ( especially the where are you gang that ignore you greetings ontop you call card).
4. Sometimes I leave change of 100 naira or 50naira and I modify it to the amount paid on the app.

Addition: I never ask anyone to please rate me 5 after any of the trip, but I think it's not bad to ask especially if you and the rider had a cool conversation, even big brands begs/ask for five star ratings.

I hope it helps someone out there.

Then he should do car hire.

Park at a strategic place. Put car hire sign on top of your car. You will surely get clients.

I saw one Camry 2010 in a 4 star hotel compound, waiting for lodgers. "Car hire" sign was on top of the car.
