Are you in amazon as I’m hearing lots of them looking in those areas. Try malmesbury if not use airbnb temporarily.

Good afternoon Ancestors. Thank you for the other time.

Please help me again with this advise.
My entry date to UK is 12th which is a Sunday. We are planning on using Qatar Airways that will get to UK by Monday 13th.
My friend who should pick us up from the airport will be at work on Monday 13th.

Is it advisable and is it also possible to leave Nigeria on the 11th and enter the UK on the 12th that is selected as our entry date.

Or I must leave my Nigeria on that 12th.

Please advise a brother.

Thank you in advance.

You guys need to be careful with all these rental agencies/ads on all these platforms. There was this article sometime ago or was it on the news can't remember now, how people were scammed in Glasgow.

They will ask you to come for viewings and you will think they are genuine because they have access to the property when they also rent the apartment on Airbnb and other short-let platforms. And the presenter said these scams are difficult to detect. Of you can avoid gumtree et Al and go for recognised estate agencies.

I think you can only be allowed on the flight from the date for which your visa is valid.

How sure are u of this statement, is this an assumption or based on real life experience or working in the airline

The reason I ask is because for US students visa, as long as the final leg is entering on or after the date then its fine... seems logical and I would have thought logical that should be the same in UK

An assumption based on what is written on the letter in your visa. I haven't travel to USA or use a transit visa before so I wouldn't know either. I just think it's safer to go on the date stamped on your passport to avoid unnecessary stress.
