Hello Kenny

Your application is still within the processing, its not advisable to send them further repeated mails.....

Most times they received what applicants send them and do not respond, but when you order your gcms notes, you will see it there that they actually received a particular document on the date the applicant sent it...

You can as well send them a mail with the attachment of the document and after that, do not send them any mail until when your application has passed the processing time...

Peace

Not Agent, I read it somewhere on Part 19 of these thread. Also, I just submit my visa application……. I recently send some additional info using the webform and I want to be sure if they have received it coz I didn’t get any reply from them yet.

Good day Guru.

I received admission for a PGD in Lambton College. I went to the bank in an attempts to pay with Form A but the bank claimed they would need to flywire information of the school before they are effect payment on CBN platform. Sadly, they have refused to make the payment.

How would I address this issue?

Thanks for your prompt reply.

What exactly did your school say? Can you share screenshot of the content? Also, what school is that?

Is the enrolment letter still compulsory before boarding at Nigerian airports?

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has updated their guidance for entry of international students to Canada in advance of their studies. These changes are in direct response to our collective advocacy to provide increased flexibility for students planning their travel to Canada and to reduce pressure on both federal agencies and institutions’ COVID-19 readiness plans (“DLI plans”).

Effective November 3rd, 2021, CBSA will no longer restrict international student arrivals to four weeks before their studies begin. CBSA will take a more facilitative approach to international students entering Canada, and any reasonable length of time prior to study will be considered. Students will still be required to demonstrate that their travel is non-discretionary. This change in guidance will apply to all international student arrivals regardless of their vaccination status. To be able to enter Canada, international students must also continue to meet all requirements under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations, including having a valid study permit and a valid letter of acceptance from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI).

We encourage all members to communicate these changes directly to their prospective international students, and we will continue to keep you informed of any future changes to these travel measures. As we continue to welcome international students to Canada in the coming weeks, Universities Canada is continuing our urgent engagement with senior officials across government on the implementation of the new vaccination requirement for domestic air and rail travel to ensure a smooth and streamlined transition to campuses, and we will keep you updated on any developments.

If you have any questions or feedback, please contact Philip Landon, chief operating officer at plandon@univcan.ca.

That was the email sent to me by my institution (University of Windsor). For enrollment letter I no nothing for I still await my good news.

NEW TREND ALERT

Hello,

If you are applying with children who have American or other dual-citizenship that allows them travel to Canada visa free, (and you are applying for family visas from Nigeria), please ensure their foreign passport(s) are current and available to travel when the time comes. A recent pattern observed is that IRCC is no longer issuing PPR/visa stamps for such category of applicants. Instead they get approval straight while other family members with only Nigerian citizenship get PPR and visa stamps. The application process remains the same, and the suggested passport to use for this is still the Nigerian one but make sure the other one (scanned copy often included in their client info) remains valid.

Although the approval/correspondence letter always says American citizens don't need a passport to travel to Canada, that is ONLY if you are traveling from the US to Canada. No Nigerian airline or custom officers will allow you travel with just that letter or other documents apart from a passport.

Finally, it is also possible to not include them as applicants in your family application except just having them listed as part of the family information, as long as they have valid US/eligible passports to travel visa free to Canada. I prefer to add them if you are in that situation because it is not impossible that their profile could help the fortune of other family members' application. Just a theory though.

Best of luck and it shall always end in praises!!

Guys please so advice will help. I have already received my study permit and have my flight initially scheduled for 17th Dec. In light of the looming travel ban that may be initiated especially with the omicron strain supposedly imported to canada by Nigerian Travellers, I reviewed my flight to this weekend. The thing is school resumes Jan 10th and my travel date is more than 4weeks which is the required travel time for students on IRCC website. Am i just being paranoid or is it still okay? I have completed one semester already in naija.

You are not paranoid. I think if you can travel while school is still in session for this fall term, showing enrollment verification for current (and possibly future) semester, I think you are good.

Also, because you have completed a semester online from Nigeria, you are a current student technically so take along your student record. I think if you get an earlier date in first week Dec before exams are over is good because the imminent ban is really scary.

Firstly, there is no 4wks whatever again, they have cancelled it since so u can enter anytime. You people should always try to read the thread, we just discussed this earlier today.
However, due to omicron thing, I just read on CBC news that Covid test will be taken at the airport for all passengers. We pray it will not results to ban. Amen
