He might not be as accomplished as we want him to be,but he does have a set of coaches he mentored who've gone on to do great things.
That says a lot about him in itself.

Right now it's all about who fits and who can get these guys to work optimally.

The PL was tougher then than now. The quality of the players then were also better. Henry, Ruud, Ronaldo, Rooney, Shearer, are better than any striker in the PL today.

Rio, Terry, Campbell, Carvalho, Stam, etc are better than any defender in the PL today.

DDG has a history of reacting soft to almost every little contact. It is gross indiscipline for a GK to leave the goal unguarded when it wasn’t a serious injury.

Fred is blameless. Contact happens. It is not his fault his keeper is so sweet. I also don’t think ESR saw that the keeper was down and even if he did I am not sure the result would have been different.

Having said that, if the tables were turned and Man Utd scored this way we would have been hearing B.S epistles about PDP and Howard Webb.

Tho I believe the ref wouldn't have cancelled the goal since it was var that made/overturned the decision. But without Var, I'm dead certain that goal would have been disallowed
