You can't quite a Job and start putting their dirty linen in the public, you risk being sued heavily. What can be done is to make all the Cons known to the management in a written form.

Had similar experience at Federal Govt College Ibillo back in the day….I had to run for my life after my JS3 exams. I advised my parents not to take any of my siblings

This very disturbing news of what happened at Dowen College is one of the direct results of adopting a western approach to discipline in many private schools in the country.

I mean, the principal assures the students that they cannot be canned. And the students become so nonchalant and rude to their teachers.

Am I in any way saying that kids should be beaten at will, upon every misgiving? Of course, no!

But when students bask in knowing that they can't be punished for their misdeeds, the teachers can do no better. In fact, it becomes more problematic when the teachers aren't too well paid and they have to curry the favour of parents. The consequence is that they overindulge the students just to please their parents.

The rich also cry!

Imagine paying millions for the death of your child

It's not the counselor's fault. He said he spoke up and even resigned for it. What more could he have done?
