Please what do some of the suffixes that trail the names of companies listed on the NGX such as MRF, BLS, DIP, DWL etc stand for?

Is there anywhere on the NGX website that it is explained?

Thank you.

The seed for a mega oil boom has been sown. There is a high level of underinvestment in the fossil energy space. And couple with the ESG movement/agents blocking financing fossil fuel production, there is going to be a severe energy shortage. And that was why I placed Brent getting to $220 per barrel and natural gas hitting $17. But that would be after oil and Nat gas decline considerably first before they spike out into space.

I hold a contrary view to BBM. I'm expecting 2022 till 2023 to be a bumper harvest for EMs. It will be a parabolic rise never seem before. I expect NSE ASI to reach 100K if not more.

Summarily, my forecasts:

Brent $220 after it declines to $30 to $50 range.

Nat gas $17 after it falls towards $2.4

NSE ASI to 100K.

Do you Due diligence.

May this predictions come to pass. Amen.

My Oga, you have good points though. However, I can assure you IF OIL price ever goes above $100, the US (arguably largest producer) will flood the market with their oil reserves and even pump more money to oil shale producers to start producing unconventionally. This will less than 6 month crash oil price as we recently witnessed.

From what the chart is saying, there is high probability that Nigeria market is likely to experience tough time from 2022. Market price may even rise to 50K...

Let me show you one more market breadth indicator (Advance and Decline - AD). See chart below, when AD line climax, price continue to rise, then price later falls in line with AD.

In any case, this is past data and this does not guarantee of future results, it's just a guilde

He raced on to accumulate more aggressively despite the apparently bad audited Q3 bottom line incomes. Singlehandedly pushing the price up against the sell pressure from some shareholders.

What is pushing Ote$, is it in the interest of common shareholders And or what is he seeing that those selling are not seeing

It’ll always surprise me that UCAP was 1.90 in March last year. It has almost 6X since then

We go borrow money equivalent or more to our investment in a once powerful, but now feeble animal and invest in a chromatographic sibling. This means we have two investments with the same cash.
Pump the feeble animal to look healthy, sell parts at bubbled prices, then offset our debts. Las las, na late comers go technically pay our debts . grin grin grin

The stock is "TOTAL"

thatz the one pple have not been mentioning here. The other one is popular and well known to everyone many have it in their portfolio and they are buying it everyday.

Note: many stock are selling at discount on d floor right now and it will still get better if one get d patient. am just sharing those I feel is cheaper in my own opinion.

grin grin grin grin

I looked up total numbers and I was impressed. I wonder why my antenna is not spotting good stocks nowadays. Thanks for the head up. If you will not mind i will like that you mention some other stocks you are watching ( non banking) so that someone like me can also look it up to see if they meet my investment criteria.

Think is about time I wrote that article with the title:

"HAVE YOURSELF A GRAND MALT"

That HUGE chasm btw potential REWARD and inherent risk (surrounding concerns are diminishing with time)
Already gave a clue before now.

My only challenge is time constrain.
It is well.

Interesting scenario. Can see many potential permutations (scenarios). Will be interesting to see which one will play out (especially the bubble) to profit the watchful ones in the bus.
