WHAT I CAN SAY ABOUT SOUTH KOREA CURRENTLY
SO guys here is what I have observed since I got to South Korea.
I arrived on the 16th of October 2021. I was initially given accommodation at the solgeo residence because I paid for it. after my quarantine, I left the hostel, why?
no freedom at all, they have a lot of rules. you will sign in anytime you are entering the hostel and do a temperature check. the mosquito in the hostel was too much. and each time you spend a night outside, you will have to run a covid test which must have a negative result that you will send to your floor manager before they allow you back into the hostel.
every day at 11 pm, they carry out a room check. so, my people, it was annoying so I left.
now getting a house outside wasn't stressful but the monthly pay was much. 70k a month which is 200,000 won.
About work:
there is work but you will have to work from 6 pm in the evening till 6 am in the morning with 1 hour break and 10 minutes break at times. it's mostly a logistic company. the work is about loading containers like those big big ones lol. if you don't have strength and endurance you cant do that work. they pay is around 30k to 40k a night so you can cover your rent in two days.
About school:
if you are coming here for study, it's better to come with a two-year program for masters or for a full BSc program, why?
because 1-year programs might not get a visa extension after the program but a two-year program will get an extension of visa after the program. Note south Koren like grade a lot, so be prepared to study or you can abandon the school but your visa will be terminated if the school finds out.
Girls:
you can get a girlfriend of a fuckmate at a club, that's the fastest means. but carry for mind say Korean babes like money too much. you fit find goods ones sha but e go hard.
NOTE: THERE IS RACISM HERE, AS LONG AS THE COLOUR OF YOUR SKIN IS BLACK OR YOU ARE FROM AFRICA, YOU WILL BE AVOIDED SOMETIMES AND LOOKED DOWN ON, MOST OF THEM SEE US AS POOR, AGGRESSIVE, AND UNCLEAN PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY BY THE ONES NOT TOO EXPOSED.
So if you are coming here prepare yourself for hard work both in studies and night work.
YET, ALL IN ALL, E BETTER PASS NIJA. NA ME TALK
there are basic human necessities here and they are organized, meaning you will have to be too. once you have money and time, you will enjoy Korea, it's actually a wonderful place to live. you can leave your things outside and still come back to it there. The law doesn't respect anyone here, its for everyone. if car hit you or even touch you, the person will pay you for that and if you do the same, you will pay for that.
if you really want to come here, try to learn the language it will enable you to get proper work.

this is an amazing write up, last year I wouldn't say I was scammed but I didn't get what I paid for, pain an agent 200k for Visa and all that but he didn't deliver, don't know if covir 19 affected my chances I just don't know, early next year I will try it again this time I will do everything by myself with the little experience I already have. Although I didn't try to go through school when I first tried it out

Thank's a lot. Trying to move to Korea without a student visa is difficult, especially from Nigeria or Africa.
It will be easier if you use a student visa next time and ensure all your documents are complete, prove of fund is also important.
We actually don't need agents to do anything for us, you can run the whole process yourself and it will come out well. I have a friend who did the whole process by himself and he is here now.
I wish you luck next time cool

bro but I think using student visa is way too costly right? Like any idea on what it would take?

yeah using a student visa is very costly, your account or your sponsor's account has to be like 8m and you will have to pay part of the school fees.
Another way to come here is using a business visa but I have no idea about that one.
you can actually come for a language programme but note Korea is difficult without money, especially during winter.

Hello
Just as promised. The procedures to follow while applying for schools here in South Korea are ready.
I will add that, whichever school you choose to apply to, always stay in contact with the Nigeria liaison officer of that school. very very important.
Find the PDF attached to this post. Try to read all, I made it short and easy to read.
