Bro instead of applying on the website, you should have looked for an insider that will help you run everything and you will get the passport within a day. When I did mine at Abeokuta, I got my passport in less than 8 hours. In fact, the delay was because I did not arrive at the appointed time the guy gave me.
The truth is those officers are running a criminal syndicate, you going to the official website to apply is depriving them of bribe, bro rub shoulders with one of them and you will get it in less than 5 hours.

I did mine in 2016 and the total cost was #36,000 but on the official site at that time, it was less than #20,000. HOPE YOU GET MY POINT.

Renewal at Alausa office around April, I paid for 64 pages after waiting for a week they said it's due to lack 64 page booklet. They said if I need it urgently all I need is to write a letter to pick the available 32 page instead while stating in the letter that I'm not being coerced to switch and I'm ready to forfeit the difference in price. I picked the 32 page booklet the day after writing this letter I didn't pay any additional sum.

Went back to the hotel room...enjoy my air condition....later in the evening I carry some runs babe...repeat same thing the next two days..visited nyanya market...I be nor know say abuja get ghetto..visit wuye, wuse..eat iya oya amala.. went to life camp area...karimu...

On the fourth day boom my 10 years passport is already out

You made a mistake. In Nigeria there is nothing like due process. How do you expect the thieves on ground to make money, if you are doing the process online? They will frustrate you. Go to their office and pay what you are asked to pay, and get your passport if you really need it. Nigeria is a damned country, it's redemption is light years away.

I had to fly >2hrs from the Midwest to DC just to renew my passport. I even missed the first day despite getting there by 8:30am. >70 pple were already ahead of me and was told they only attend to the first 50. I had to crash at my sister's in Baltimore and got there at around 6:30am the subsequent day. Yet, 10 pple were ahead of me.

Everything abt 9ja is messed up by these same Nigerians. The dude that took my passport photo is Caribbean. When was this ? My passport is expiring this month and I tried paying for and looking for appointment online but they don't have any appointments open even till March next year. Are you saying I don't need appointment. Can I get it same day if I get there at 6am. I am coming from midwest as well. I paid 49k for mine(Express)last year March and due to Corona I collected it in April

We stand for sun taya b4 we queued up and it took hours b4 I got inside, when everyone don collect finish, e remain me and about 4 people

Den dey came with a piece of paper and asked us to write our name to know if ours is out since those that collected got a message.. after writing, the man went inside and boom my passport came out.....

the mistake you made was trying to do the online thing for naija and there is nothing wrong with that in a sane environment but maybe you dont know how we roll. The ochins at NIS will has sabotaged the system so you can always come to them and that's how I did my runs ooh. I dont know the state you are, that's if you are in naija, in case you are in lagos I can give you a contact in case you dont have so you can get your kpali, only that now you have to get appointment for capturing unlike before when you can get capturee same day you submit you data form.
