having taught too, i would say most sec school girls in urban schools are mostly 13-18...

I remeber when a student(who i often take as my secretary) of mine hugged me from the back one day whilst i was sitting in my office. it just so happens that at that very moment, another collegue was passing my office. my heart skipped like a thousand beats.. luckily it was the collegue who entertains the company of these girls.

Well, there will be a lot of comments but it is important to know that if you have not served in a mix school or an all girls' school, it is proper for you to just read and learn.
Having said that, I want to state that most of this things start with the students followed by the schools and the Corp members.
1. During my year of service, I had to do and avoid a lot of things to keep away from those girls. They come out for you with full force and bravery that will shock you. Imagine student telling you openly that this is her town and you will grant her wish or student writing letter to warn you to adhere to their leaders request or have to face them as group ( these ones are in cult and it's prevalent among all girls' schools.
2. Most schools provide accommodation for Corp members within the school premises, this is very bad. I had to reject my own because I knew that sooner or later, what I didn't want to do was going to happened. My colleague took the offer but I am not sure he left the school keeping the promise we made to ourselves in respect of this topic. On several occasions and at odd hours I saw different girls who claimed they came to fetch water for "corper". The closeness became too much that some of them were fighting while those that lost out became open enemies of his.
3) Finally, not every graduate has self discipline, in fact some have already prepared their mindset towards taking advantage of the little girls before they leave the camp. Give them PPA outside school and they will work for the rejection. But unfortunately for some of them, some schools put certain measure to avoid the possibility of them achieving their bad intentions.

This is akin to asking why politicians lie or why anything happens for that matter

The majority of secondary school students are below 18. You know this. You know these guys sleeping with them are wrong. Sexism will not allow you view things properly. Do you guys think treating fellow men's promiscuity with kid gloves makes you more of a man? Would you be OK with a corp member messing up your girl child in school? In lagos and developed cities they are 16, 17 and above, in north and undeveloped places, they are of the average 20 to 22
