In all we say or do, understanding matter, when they say check on family and friends, they are still telling you that is in any life challenges you're in try and reach out to ur family and friends, even not for help from them, but don't stay in your quiet corner, just stroll around And learn from things around you... There was ample time to rescue that young man. They would have just dragged him down with force. If it was his family member, would he be there filming and asking questions. He would have first rescued him before plenty talk. Its really sad.

You guys seems not to get it that reality is not Nollywood!
It takes a worldful of determination for a guy to attempt suicide by climbing the bridge rails - he wasn't waiting to be saved or acting film ok!
Any swift movement from you to safe him would've either forced him to jump earlier(that guilt alone can drive you insane) or he'd drag you with him in desperation!
Your only card is to reason with him gently and if he wouldn't respond, he is a lost cause!
Only if he responds can you start making subtle movement toward him to attempt rescue.
