To avoid the dissemination of the new variant of the SARS-CoV-2, the Brazilian government adopted new regulations for the entry of international travellers in its territory. They will be enforced from the 18th December 2021. These measures include:

- the need to present negative or non-detected results for the SARS-CoV-2 at the time of the embark. Antigen and RT-PCR tests will be accepted if done up to 24 hours and 72 hours of the departure, respectively;

- the need of all travellers to fill the health declaration form "Declaração de Saúde do Viajante" - DSV (https://formulario.anvisa.gov.br), within 24 hours of the departure;

- the need to present to the airline responsible for the flight, upon check-in, proof of vaccination, printed or digital, with the immunizers approved either by the Brazilian Agency ANVISA or by the World Health Orgsanization or the authorities of the countries where the traveller was vaccinated. Please note that the last jab must have occurred at least 14 days before departure;

- the need for a 5-day quarantine at home or at the place of accomodation and to do a test-to-release after the 5 days to all travellers that could not present a proof of full vaccination, completed at least 14 days of the departure to Brazil;

- temporary ban of any foreign travellers or any international flight originating or coming to Brazil from the followinf countries: South Africa, Botwana, Eswatini (former Swaziland), Lesotho, Namibia and Zimbabwe in the last 14 days. Exceptions will be made only to Brazilian nationals, foreign residents in Brazil and government/international organization officials; and.

- special regulations will also be in force for airline and ship crews.

The Consulate reccomends to all Nigerian travelling to Brazil to verify with their airlines about the restrictions. In case of any queries, please contact us at consular.lagos@itamaraty.gov.br.

Update on this. I went for the interview over a week ago. Got an email to pick up our passports this week.
But no visa was issued on the passports, and no reason given.
I don't even know what to do next.
zmoney:
Good Morning all, Please is there anyone who has applied for a visa recently and was asked to come for an interview?

I applied with my husband, but I was the only one asked to come for an interview. What kind of questions can I expect?

Thank You.

So sorry about this.. Guess you were heavily pregnant, maybe you should reapply but this time for childbirth.
I applied over 2weeks ago and haven't received any email from them, I guess it's because of a previous refusal, or you can try Mexico.

Sorry about that. I think you should apply for a medical visa. What questions were you asked at the interview?

Did anyone notarize the letter of consent for their child for the visa?

Asides from the passport itself. Also did you submit photocopy of your documents or originals.
