Please somebody help. I am not seeing any appointment date for VI TLS center. Can I go to the office there and they can assist in helping me book?
Or can one just do a walkin without appointment?

thank you, so I finally got the refusal letter, it had to do with my statement and what they saying is not correct, they are saying there are unexplained deposits which isn’t correct, only salary comes in.. also monthly expenditure I put is 60k because it’s btw 50-70k each month, they said it doesn’t correlate as well.. and I stated that I’d be spending 300k but they seemed to also find fault with that too.. now they ended it with saying I have no rights to appeal it.

Please, I will appreciate sharing of UKVI mail or how to contact them. It's been almost 44working days since my wife application, and we've not received anything. She did her biometrics 20,October. Perhaps, sending them a paid mail or call will help if anyone can share how to get that done. Thanks

Please how does one send a paid email. I think I am at that point now

Richardelorin:
I don’t really understand how things work in UK. I sent paid mail 26th November and got a reply that a decision has been made & it takes 5-10 working days before I can be contacted by VAC. Is over 15 working days now I have not heard anything. Please I need someone with experience to explain for me.
Thanks.

thank you, I can’t seem to share media but here are the details I asked in another thread

Hello guys pls id like to ask some questions based on the reason for my Uk visitors visa refusal.

1. They complained about unexplained deposits to my account: I checked this out and the only other deposit I could find were atm reversal deposits for 10k each in two different occasions, rev was even included as description on the statement.

2. They complained about my monthly expenditure being 60k, reason was I had varying withdrawals btw 40-70k, so I chose 60k as an estimate.. was I supposed to stick to a particular figure to withdraw every month? Say exactly 50k.

3. My salary is 400k and I stated that I would be spending 300k in the UK, they said that they are not convinced I’ll be able to cater to my needs and accommodation in the Uk.. mind you, I already got an invitation letter that clearly states I’ll be accommodated by family.

They ended this by saying there is no right to appeal or administrative reviews so how am I supposed to explain all of these?

Good evening house.

Newbie here. I've been reading this tread for the past 3 days and now I think I'm suffering from information overload.

I'm planning to travel to the UK to visit my girlfriend who's a British citizen and I have absolutely no idea where to start from.

Can someone suggest the first few steps to take? Please note that...

1. I've never travelled out of the country before
2. My intl passport expires in July
3. I work a 9-5 with a steady salary
4. I've not been vaccinated
5. I'll like to travel by February/March

Thank you in advance.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by cutebear: 4:14am On Dec 21, 2021
60k is actually so unrealistic as your monthly expenditure. Also, remember 300k is only about £400!!! Who goes on vacation to spend £400??! Remember this includes flight. When trying to reduce your expenses, also try to be a little bit realistic so that you won’t look like a liar.
Lastly, how much did you have in your bank account in total??! Hope the money was there for a longtime.
Infact, for someone who earns 400k monthly and spends only 60k out of it, you should have savings of 340k monthly for even more than 6 months. 340k x 12 months of savings should give you nothing less than 4 million.
I don’t know but there are some loopholes in your application with regards to finances.

How do you plan to convince the ECO that when you go and visit your girlfriend, you guys won’t secretly get married in the uk and you won’t remain there illegally while trying to obtain a permit?
You need strong evidence and proof.
How much do you earn monthly?
Do you have properties in your name in Nigeria?
What are your ties to Nigeria?
How much do you have in savings/investment?
First of all, I would suggest you go and renew your passport, then you should travel to at least 2 other countries before making this attempt. Because unless you have a VERY high paying job or landed properties/investments here, it’ll just look like you want to run away.
Travel to Dubai, Morocco, Turkey or South Africa. Let your girlfriend meet you there and you guys can enjoy the holiday.
You need to build your passport and your credibility.
Use this 2022 to build your new passport and move your UK travel plans to 2023 instead.
These ECOs are very smart and as far as they are concerned, all first time applicants are potential illegal immigrants unless you can prove them otherwise.

Did you do an estimate of return ticket alone?
mind you, I already got an invitation letter that clearly states I’ll be accommodated by family.

sorry. 60k expense … as I have seen less on this thread. So cnt comment on this. One time even saw 15k.
Also I think 300k to be fair as expenses is just strange.
To me, the circumstances are different now.. with the way Nigerians are applying for uk visa and the people are tilting so much on defense.
Every first time application os treated as tho you are coming to be illegal. Was this a sponsored trip? Did you submit employment letters?how long have you been in your employment? What kind of job is it? What exactly will bring you back to Nigeria- What are your ties to Nigeria? That is the golden question
What was left in your statement?

The interviewer know the high cost of stuffs in Nigeria, transportation, housing etc. Saying you spend 60K and earn 400K is questionable.

Don't you pay house rent

Food

Transportation

Nepa/Water Bills

Other bills..recharge and Internet

Etc

You and I know even your 400K may not be enough for this in a month. The higher your salary, the higher your living expenses.

Your expenses here and planned expenses are very low. What you should have done is, you explain why your expenses here is 60K. Probably, you stay in your own or inherited house which needs docs back up. You own a car or you have other business that brings extra cash to the table.

This makes a lot of sense though. Can I obtain a new passport before the current one expires?

Also, what if I'm able to provide proof of my parents' business which has my name on it as a managing partner? Will that help my case?

okay so I also told them that I live with my parents hence I don’t pay rent or utilities, I didn’t realize I had to back that up too.. for future references how much is sufficient as expenses abroad? I only estimated that 300k for spending since I’d be accommodated, was I meant to estimate flight expenses too?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by cutebear: 10:33am On Dec 21, 2021
Yes, you can get a new passport before the expiration of the current one.
Since you’re a managing partner of your parent’s business, you will also need an introduction letter from the company addressed to the BHC.
Also, Is the company registered with CAC?
How profitable/lucrative is this business?
Do you get paid by the company?
If yes, I hope the payments are also reflected on your bank statement.
Also, the current company you work for, how good is your job & how long have you been working there?
Remeber, everything you claim will be scrutinized.
