Since 2009 o. Seems we are not part of the privileged Nigerians wey get connections but I thank God for putting food on my table always. I can even teach some of those people I know wey dey work for federal government about their job. And some of them have been working for government for over five years because dem know somebody wey know somebody. God dey sha!

What course did you study? I don't see this trend changing soon if students don't research on their proposed course. Some courses are just names while others are oversaturated.

Op mine is 2012, nysc 2013. You are not alone bro. It's only when you see others that their story is even worse,then you'll realize their is still need to tnk God

Since 2012 - present. It's not easy. I'm now open for employment in any field beside geophysics.

Two months after mandatory national service, I started working.

In as much as I am not oblivious of the unemployment rate in Nigeria,I can boldly tell you that young guys are doing well for themselves through equipping themselves with in demand digital skills instead of waiting for one Messiah in form of Nigerian government (that don't even care about you) or your rich uncles and aunties with so many responsibilities already.

Some of such in-demand skills are: freelancing, copywriting, programing/coding, affiliate marketing,data science,graphics/web development etc. Just pick one and master everything about it. You can use free resource channels such as Google and YouTube to start and then buy courses, masterclasses etc to upgrade. This is because most informations from free sources such as YouTube can be very disorganized which can complicate things but you can still start there if you don't have the resources for premium contents.

Meanwhile, I major and earn good money from affiliate marketing.
