Is there really any fog poop that doesn't smell?

Well I did notice my dogs poop changed when I started feeding it noodles.... It was always watery and greyish but his energy level is always 100 regardless, then for a day I switched back to his usual 100% meat meal and the poop came back solid.

So watery poop could be due to food type

It’s obvious you never smell Parvovirus poop in dogs.

I love dogs cos of my kids but can't stand them inside the house talkless of pooing n weeing inside the house. I lost about 3 puppies, 1 cauc and 2 samoyed. I wish I saw this thread earlier its really educative and av learnt a lot just reading through.

My new dog is about 6months, mixed rott, eats a lot both the dried crunches Booster as dinner and indomie/chicken or beef as breakfast in addition to canned food once in a while but he doesn't grow fat.

Secondly my dogs don't bark at strangers despite being in a cage all the time n i live alone in my compound, always playing with strangers and jumping around. It's supposed to be a security dog but my boys hav turned her to play play toy. This has been d trend even with the ones that died. Pls how do I get my dogs to be real security dogs as in bark at strangers, poo poo in one spot and also grow fat?

If it’s parvo it will be vomiting as well.
It’s probably something that doesn’t agree with it’s stomach.
Stop feeding it eggs. Get some real dog chow from the vet. If you buy dog canned meat. Divide into three and feed the dog each section with white rice.

For the poop, wait till the dog is stable and no longer has diarrhea then immediately start potty training it.
Each it the dog poops (solid poops), move the poop to the area you want the dog to always poop.
Let the poop stay there all day so the dog can keep sniffing the poop in that particular area.
Do this for a week and the dog should always associate that spot with poops.
It sounds gross keeping the poop there but that’s the way even dog trainers do it.
Do not beat the dog or vent out your frustration on it when it poops. Let it know in the stern voice that you’re not pleased. Then move the poop.

I trained my dog to the point that he would start scratching the door whenever he wanted to poop and once I opened it he would go to his designated spot to do his thing.
Start it.
Better late than never.

Lhasa can be extremely stubborn sometimes nothing surprising

The issue about your dog playing with strangers is same thing with mine, most times he completely ignores me to play with strangers but he listens to only me.
I've been told that with time he'd become more territorial and less playful with strangers. That his age it is best to let him socialize and not be aggressive.
I think with time yours will become territorial.

Looool I can now relate to this, what mine does is to scatter the whole house, if my wardrobe is open, he'll drag all the clothes to the ground, same thing with pillow and also drag off the bedsheet. When I come in, he'll now start hiding.

First, what's the intention of keeping that dog, is it for house security, pet or business. If It's for business, please sell that Dog ASAP. If it's for pet or security, then I can advice you further.
Firstly, you dont allow your dog wallow around after eating, exactly what' they do next,after eating is poo. I'd advise you get a cage 4/3m3, 4m3 wood, top zinc and side netting for better ventilation, under it should be a net so the poo can drop down. If you don't mind dropping your number so I can show you how Dog Cage looks, . For the issue of watery stool, does it smells? Is there a blood in it? Like a touch of blood, if yes, my brother, that's a Parvo virus, very deadly. It kills within 7 days if not attended to immediately, I lost my Bull dog to it. I'm a Breeder. I have a Cauc, 2 GSD's, Bullmastive, Haund, and Bull dog (dead to Parvo). I don't breed cross breeds, because it's strictly for Business. We can continue this conversation via whatsapp so I can show you the tips of keeping a healthy dog, how to potty train your puppy, the simple commands with video samples etc. (please I don't do this for money).

I want to gift my niece a Christmas gift. She's just one. I hope she will like it. But, what does it eat? I can't feed it. Can it eat what I eat? Fufu, Goldenmorn, Cerelac, Garrison, Beans and the likes?

Awww he’s cute. Don’t return him. You just have to train him. It’s like that the first few weeks or months after you get a new pup till they adjust to your training. Give him a little spank on the spot he poops inside the house then take him outside immediately for a walk. Reward him with a treat after he poops outside.

With time he will understand he is meant to do it outside not inside the house but you have to have time to walk him outside at least 3 times a day in that early stage.

This is what worked for my Lhasa apso even though he still gets stubborn once in a while and does it inside the house when I forget to take him out for long. But it’s not as bad as when he was a puppy.

So on Saturday, my dad called me that someone gave him a GSD mixed breed puppy (local dog mom & GSD dad). The owner said it is 9 weeks old.

I love the puppy, in fact first thing I did when I got to my parent's place was to take it to the vet, for shots and deworming.

I slept over at their place and took it home with me yesterday. I do not have a cage, so it slept in the room with me, before I woke up it has messed up the whole room and it's poop is watery (I am not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if it's because it was dewormed on Saturday, because I notice worms anytime it poops up until this morning).

The rest of the day, it kept pooping all over the place, it does this almost immediately after it finish eating.

I have been feeding it boiled egg since I'm Saturday, but it stopped accepting today, I made custard and milk for it, it didn't accept it, luckily I had chicken at home, I fed it with chicken and it ate it.

I work from home, but looking after it slowed down my work today and I was so stressed.

Part of the issues I have is:

1. How do I get it to poop on a spot or something? Or do I get cage for it, keep it there and let it poop there while I clean it later in the day? I am already thinking of making a cage for it and keeping it in my balcony.

2. Is the poop supposed to be watery? Is it a sign of diarrhea? Should I get something a drug for it?

3. I want to get dog food for it tomorrow (vet recommended pedigree puppy). What else can I feed it? Please I need recommendations.



Please I need your help abeg dog experts. Before I return it back to my dad.

First of all training for a pet dog and security dog are very different. For one, a security dog should not be inside the house. I don’t think you should keep large dogs like German Shepherds indoors. Try to get it a big cage and start keeping it there during the day and releasing at night. You have to do this early so it doesn’t get used to roaming around the house during the day then start crying when you try to cage it.

Don't mind those guys your dog is a gsd mix not a rott mix and you are doing well noting to add.

Yes for the territory thing they grow to it, for not it is still a puppy and like a baby will only play, it is good you allow this socialisation period because it helps alot later.

The puppy is very active and playful, it shows no sign of weakness except when it sleeps. In fact most of the night it parades the house and chews on anything.

Go get cornflower it looks like garri, preparation: boil 60cl of water add onion and fresh pepper add crayfish with palm oil, when the water is boiling you start adding the cornflower stir it until it become like the normal garri (EBA) you can smash boiled egg into it don't forget to add vegetable such pumpkin leaf. Give it to puppy to eat and it gonna be alright, the watery stooling will stop
