Yes! The threatening or harrasing is wrong and can lead to 3months jail term( against it). Since issue dey like this and the woman is a troublemaker, it's best to go collect his marital expenses and discharge her. As long as he didn't divorce her she is still his wife.

She needs to be reported at the police station and she will write an undertaken that she won't threaten her again

But the main thing is, did you go to her family to inform them that you have ended your marriage with their daughter

If your story is true the way it's narrated, then your ex-wife must be cruel and senseless. I think you need to threaten her with arrest and if after that she keeps disturbing, disgracing and threatening your girlfriend, find a way of reaching her parents and if that also can't solve the case, then you are left with no other option than getting her arrested and compelled to sign letter of undertaking never to disturb your new family again or else she will be made to face the wrath of law regardless of children involved.

Mind you, the woman that left you when you needed her most according to your story could not have cared whether you would die in poverty or not and as such, she shouldn't be handled with levity after all she must have been with some men after her departure from you. So, why is she now disturbing you? Deal with her in a way the girl that stayed with you through tick and thin will be made to live in peace with you because she doesn't have to pay for your ex's stupidity and unfaithfulness.

We are talking about a judicial system where people can be sentenced to prison even in absentia.

The court papers can be served at her last known address. She doesn't even need to appear at the courthouse while the divorce case and judgment are completed. The lawyer will guide through the process.
