At least with Costa, he combined brute force with technique. A reason why he was able to face those big teams and come out on top. Cos against these big boys, only the little details matter and this often requires technicality. Sad reality is, EPL now has 1 to many big boys.

Technique in football encompasses ball control, passing, dribbling etc... Lukaku's lack of all the aforementioned makes him fluff goal scoring opportunities. You might not notice this because you care more about hollywood passes.

Tactically however, his lack of pressing and movement affects the whole system which won us the UCL. We all know that our attack last season was unpredictable due to flair and the ability of our attackers to play anywhere across the front line.
