Don't allow anyone dissuade you from following your dreams, Ukraine citizens travel visa free to the Shengen Zone.
While doing your studies try and learn Russian.
In Nigeria Bandits attack villages and kill hundreds and kidnap hundreds of kids, have you heard that in Ukraine

Different from what Russia is doing in Ukraine?

My apologies. But others gave you advice about that already especially with regards to the kind of place Ukraine is but you were adamant with your opinionsand perception about Ukraine that is why I decided to chip in. Don't feel bad. I also concluded plans to study in Ukraine but I decided not to at the last minute after doing more due diligence. Mind you, while Ukraine unis that offer the course I planned to study had bad reputations, the ones that offer the course you study could actually have great reputation. For example, when it comes to physics, Ukrainian universities are excellent. I also think that Engineering in a good number of their unis are miles better than many other places. My major point is that you should do enough research so that you can pick a good one. In fact, you could find one that is comparable or even better than the unis in more developed EU countries.

Regards.

I only wish we have more people like you here. people who are not afraid of telling the truth, keep doing what you are doing.

You are not my favourite person justwise but when it’s time to call a spade a spade I would. truth be told a lot of these guys you are arguing with probably are living in denial it’s a stage which I understand because I’ve lived in Ukraine myself. They know you’re saying the truth but they choose to deny it. Ukraine really has nothing to offer other than the easier path of moving to better countries. Their PR is useless as far as I’m concerned ( you stupid agents and yahoo boys pls don’t even try and quote me I’ll not even give you a reply cus I’m tired of y’all).
Any meaningful young man or woman wanting a better future for themselves wouldn’t stay in Ukraine. I’m not just talking from hearsay I’ve lived and seen Ukraine from every perspective I still have friends there that are packing their bags now to move to other counties because all Ukraine does is rob you of everything you have. The matter long Abeg short and long of it is have a plan and whatever that plan is it should not include you spending the rest of your days in Ukraine. If you choose to na your papa business me I don talk my own. All man with Wetin dey worry me. Ciao.

My posts are not targeted at those ones, my concerns are for those planning to move to Ukraine and paying crooks $$$$ to get a visa.

These crooks both in Nigeria and Ukraine lied to prospective students that visa is guaranteed if they pay $$$$, they sale IV letter to them then target their school fees when they arrived in Ukraine, I'm only after those people.

But you only spent 6 months in Ukraine now. So in just 6 months you have known everything about Ukraine? What i see from your comment is total comparison. Just because you are now in Germany. Ofcourse Germany is far better. Everyone knows that. But our journeys in life are different. Some foreigners are doing well in the poorest countries in the world. Some of us in Ukraine will move to other countries after sometime. While some will remain. Life is in stages. Everyone cannot copy you. Please you guys should kindly just reduce your absolute discouraging statements. In the same Germany that you are there some foreigners are finding life very difficult. Life no balance o.

Aptly said. Life is not black and white. I know of someone who was in Germany but had to apply for US visa more than ten times before he eventually got it. My point is: we all have different path to our destination.

Thank you so Much @zeemahn. I have been sounding adamant because the advices some persons are giving is already late for someone like me. Also the way these persons give out the advice can be very irritating. I have made the decision to be in Ukraine and i must position the state of mind to get the best out of Ukraine. It's a mindset thing. Thank you once again. I have gained somethings from you.

OK I get. Make the best out of it. That degree and travel experience will still mean a lot compared to remaining in Nigeria.

Russia seized and annexed the southern Crimean peninsula then Russian-backed separatists swathes Ukraine's two eastern regions known as the Donbas in 2014, Fact. We are watched the whole event live for months.

Crimea is majority Russian speakers and they conducted referendum and decided to join Russia, this is just about the west and Russia war games and it's been long this happened as for the Donbass area is just Russia causing unrest there so that Ukraine won't join NATO as NATO states that they won't accept a country that has internal security issues... Aside that other parts of Ukraine are doing good no issue.. business is going well.. dont use it to judge beside they don't do suicide bombing or kidnap like boko Haram and bandits...so it's a wrong comparison with Nigerian situation.

You are not making any sense, Crimea and Donbass are part of Ukraine taken over by Russia and you are here trying to rewrite the history.

Russia is currently threatening another invasion of Ukraine, just the fear of US and western reaction is holding Russia back, that is worst than what Boko haram is doing. Basically Ukraine has no power over some part of her country.

No part of Nigeria is taken over by another country, not even Bakassi.

Are you serious

Is it that you are jealous that Ukraine is better than Nigeria, Do you know that Ukraine Citizens enjoy Visa Free travel to the Sheghen Zone, Do you know that Ukraine has one of the best Medical Studies in the world, Do you know the Number of International students that troop to Ukraine for studies every year, Just mention one area that Nigeria compares to Ukraine, even in sports Ukraine is miles ahead of Nigeria.

You keep talking of Russia invasion since 2014, but we haven't heard that hundreds of kids were abducted from secondary schools, we haven't heard of bomb explotions in Markets, Hospitals, Motor parks, Schools etc, nor have we heard of mass killings of villagers just like in Borno, Benue, Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kaduna, Imo etc, nor high profile assassination of Army generals, politicians, religious leaders.

Common man, deep inside you know that Ukraine is miles ahead of Nigeria..

I have replied someone with your line of argument before, this is not about Nigeria vs Ukraine

justwise:

I’m not comparing Ukraine to Nigeria, whether Ukraine is better than Nigeria is a completely different issue.

My point is.. don’t just waste money leaving Nigeria to a country that has little or nothing to offer you. Nobody leaves Nigeria because of good road and steady power supply, you can get that in Abuja and many other cities in Nigeria, you leave to a country that offers you a better chance in life, earn decent living without doing illegal jobs, friendly immigration policies etc

Ukraine will not even allow foreign students to work legally. Many Nigerians living there are desperate to move to another country.

Lastly I think it’s madness to pay $$$$$ for so called visa guarantee even when you are not sure of getting that visa .

Check your Visa
Carefully go through the details you would see the amount of entries you have
Type D visa comes with multiple entry so you can come prepared this Time.
Type C is single entry.
So if you have type D you can fly in.
Happy new year from Kharkiv ukraine.

What you don't know try to learn.... Read about history of crimea ... All this Russian invasion is a hoax by western media... Russia does this all year it's not the first or last... They just want to draw the world attention and they will end up negotiating and Nord stream 2 will be approved.... And all is settled... Russia is doing same thing usa did when Russia tried to put it weapon in Cuba... Usa went berserk and negotiated now usa is pushing Ukraine so they join NATO so usa can out weapons that can cause problem for Russia.. but at the end the media makes Russia look like the bad guy... Russia is after fair world... How many times has Russia invaded a country with no justified cause? But usa always does that and they are the good guys... Dude Ukraine is very and 100% better than Nigeria... Stop sitting behind keyboard and type what you read... Basic life is respected unlike In Nigeria police harras citizens unjustly agencies don't work, fake drugs are sold , dirty water , mosquito and open gutters everywhere to say a little.. please just don't make stupid comparison...
