Kessie is a more rounded and robust player( infact I call him a general midfielder) he fits in any Manager's style,He is just been wasted at AC Milan, he was fully utilized by Coach Massimo Drago at Atlanta. The truth is there is no central midfielder currently as technical and well rounded like kessie in the super eagles if you check the link with the excerpt you will find video evidence with his use of good skills.

Now on Nwakali, please Transfermrkt can get positions right several times for major leagues but they can mix things up oftentimes for 2nd tiers and some other obscure leagues and occasionally even Top leagues. I know this because I saw every Nwakali game in a Huesca game up until January 2nd, 2022.

He's played mostly as a Central Midfield player, mostly deeplying, for Huesca this season. He was almost always falling deep to conduct plays. He has only stayed as an AM for a longer portion of a game a few times like in his last game vs Girona on Jan 2nd.

If you want proof, check his Sofascore heatmaps for some of those games Transfermrkt listed him as an AM and see the positional errors.

And then check his heatmap for his last game. Totally different for the most parts. So you see... Eye test tells the story better. Not Transfermrkt ref which can be wrong sometimes.
