I saw that interview, what I felt was pity for all Nigerians. The president's mind cannot process complex issues, like Obasanjo said, it is better to start looking beyond Buhari, he can't do much better than what he already did.

Industrialisation is the best way to go for a country like nigeria but the government without providing enabling environment,will still come up with policies that will kill existing ones and discourage new ones.

Yesterday interview has been generating a lot of heat, but the one that got me thinking the most, is this economy question, where data are read and how Buhari answered it.
He didn't even believe the national data.
Its sad, Nigeria has a president who answer question like this.
Its a disgrace to us as the biggest black country.
Just see what he said afterwards- talking about farming, when statistical question is asked.

is Farming the solution to all problems?
In a saner climes, our president may not become a ward counsellor.

EXCHANGE RATE was about N197 to a Dollar k, but NOW, it's Way OVER N400 Naira (Government-Regulated Rate).
So, Nigerians will Look • back Economically & Say - BEFORE you took office in 2015, most of these INDICES were FAIR, but NOW, the INDICES & FIGURES are NOT Friendly AT ALL.

Oga, no one should under estimate farmining. Only a fool will do so becos.....a person that is denied food for 24 hours will shout; one that is denied food for 48 hrs will complain while anyone that is denied food for 72 hours will fight/quarrel. Therefore the difference between peace & anarchy in most countries of the world is just a few days without food. However in a country like Nigeria how shall we be attracted to farming with crude implements, grave insecurity-banditry, rape of women farmers, kidnapping etc. While is Chief Sunday Igboho being held in Benin Republic? Is it not as a result of his fighting against killer herdsmen who are destroying farms in Oke Ogun Area of Oyo State which eventually cumulated into ...seeking for Self Determination since the Govt seems to be powerless & not interested in addressing the issue on time & even properly? So Mr President's urging Nigerians to embrace farming in the face of aforementioned impediments seems to be just begging the issue. Thank you.
