Good evening everyone, and happy new year! Please I would like the gurus in the house to please assist with my situation.

My husband applied to Northern College in Ontario yesterday, Supply Chain Management (B307S). Shortly later in the night, he received a mail saying his application was not successful. The reason given was that " Previous education does not meet admissions requirements". We were surprised though, because we believed his petroleum engineering degree should qualify him for.

We have been searching for a program in Supply Chain management and logistics in Canadian colleges since yesterday. We haven't been able to find a suitable one that his BSc petroleum engineering would qualify him for.

Just now, we discovered Humber College. I need you gurus to please advise if my petroleum engineering degree would qualify for a Supply Chain management program in the college. Also, would a PGD from Humber college qualify him for an Ontario PNP nomination when the time comes?

The bolded is not correct as it is not related. Supply chain covers Marketing, sales, Logistics, business and management(Human/Material resource). On his CV, did he mention an experience in supply chain. He needs to work on his CV to show he has at least a year experience thats into supply chain.

Conestoga college offers Supply chain well..

Tailor the CV to align with with supply chain even if its a previous experience before this current petroleum engineering role

Please I need urgent answers cry

I graduated with a 2.2. cry...Had a 3.1 CGPA.

I need your advices on universities that I can apply that can guarantee me admission.

Please don't skip cry

The minimum requirement for Admission in Canada for a Masters is 2.1

With your 2.2, you are eligible for a PG. CERT PROGRAM at a college.

That being said,

Your Response to the questions below would enable you to get a response on the type of PG.Cert program at a College you should go for

- what did you study in the university ?

- what year did you graduate ? (to address study gap)

- Do you have a job? If yes, what is the name of your Job, and what are your Job duties? (to know if your Job is related to your Degree)

- How many years work experience do you have in that Job?

- Is your Job related to what you studied in the University?

Hello Horlajp

This depends on you though, what exactly do you want?
To study in Canada or to just visit Canada?

With your last statement, it shows you wanna Japa which is very relatable. But I will advise you calm down, I see desperation written all over your post, and I won't advise you show this by applying for a visiting visa when you have a study permit application still ongoing..

Both Visa applications are temporary applications , so why apply for 2 different temporary visa applications at the same time?

I will advise you exercise patience till when your study permit is concluded which may be approved before you shoot your shot for a visiting Visa application....

Peace

Thanks a lot… just seeing this .

Hello,

What's the best study option for someone with Second class lower division in Mechanical Engineering (2008)?

Three years job experience in Logistics between 2014 -2017

And community manager experience from 2017- till date.

I am looking forward to study either Engineering Management or Supply Chain Management.
Is this feasible?

Based on your Recent job experience from 2017 till date

You are good to go for a
PG. Cert (Postgraduate Certificate) program in
- Social Media
- Digital Marketing
- HRM (Human Resources Management)
- Public Relations
- Public Administration

Google more about a Community Manager and see how you can link it up and your job duties with the above programs

Good luck.

Thanks for the response. I was thinking I can align my community manager and logistics experience to fit into supply chain management or engineering management PGD at least.

I have a dollar card but how do I fund it?
Anon123:

The maximum amount allowed in a Nigerian debit card is $100US therefore thats why it is declining, if you have someone TRUSTWORTHY with a dollar card or anyone (TRUSTWORTHY) in canada, you can reach out to them.

I can pay for you in CAD but i sell at 480naira to $1cad

I’m heading to my finals and I’ll be graduating by October of this year and I’ll like to travel down to Canada after graduation.
I want to know the steps I’ll take so that I can start early.
NB: I’m studying quantity surveying.

Lol, at hot afternoon.

I actually used a dollar card and I've used this same card to pay for 3 other people before in the past without issues but it was with normal GC key not the new portal. I've tried like 2 other dollar cards, still getting declined. I tire o

buchito1:
Hello bro..

Paying was very easy all thanks to Access Bank..

I used my sister's Access Bank Visa Card. And it was successful. I got debited in seconds.

If you know anyone that has Access Visa Card, then give it a trial.

And I applied during the day. On a normal hot afternoon in November

If that doesn't still work, then you'll have to try someone trustworthy outside the shores of Naija to help you pay.

Or you can use Barter by Flutter wave. (very expensive)

Good luck bro.

If it's GTB dollar card. It won't go. You will have to contact them to activate the Visacard otp gateway. After 24hours. It will be successful.

Hello Princetigris

The bolded though..

As our custom is here, after a refusal, you order for your GCMS notes to know the exact reasons for the refusal of your application.. When you get your notes, upload here so we can help figure out the concerns of the Visa Officer and tackle these concerns so you can get your Visa in your next application..

I wont advise an appeal if you are not sure of what you did. So order for your notes, when you see the refusal reasons and you are certain it was actually addressed in your application, then you can go for JR.. And I hope you have the money for it cos its not the same amount with Visa Application fee..

Lastly I saw that they refused you for Immigration status, I dont need GCMS notes to know you didnt apply from Nigeria and you failed to explain your current status in the country that you are... Please shed more light on your situation..

Peace
Please can I PM you?
