I wouldn't want to face this Camerounian team. Their athletism is at another level. They look like a tournament team.
I feel BF made them look dangerous

Osimhen for sweet for this nations cup. He would be greatly missed

With Osimhen/Dennis/Ighalo

The cup sure.

But make and see how the coach patches up their absense.

I said it before. If Dennis keeps his EPL form, nothing and nobody will decide if he will be called up. It is automatic.

You must be unfamiliar with how NFF works.

Dennis is not on the list of people with automatic call ups. In fact, he fit don enter black list so.

Any good team will easily beat this Cameroon team I saw today. No sense, no attacking efficiency, just muscle and inshallah.

So many times a simple pass would have left players one-on-one or to tap into an empty net and they just wasted it. Aboubakar is holding that Cameroon attack in bondage, guy is too selfish and it is rubbing off on the other guys.

Their set-piece defending was nothing to write home about. Onana is overhyped, at least in the Cameroonian jersey if not Ajax's.

Any team that is well organized and can pass the ball on the ground will run circles round this Cameroon team. You don't need to match their strength to beat them. Watch as Cape Verde will give them a tough time in their next game.

yes, yes I feel so, I think Egypt will whoop them also with sallah Egypt can strike dem so fast without dem knowing. chucks and ejuke will definitely get at their body builders, I’m just marveled at how big they appear, and so fast and the way they tackle I mean they can just rough handle many teams without really being outstanding themselves. Many of the bokina boys will have bruise.

Sometimes football is more than being a brute. I trust the north Africans and their theatrics.

There's nothing special about this cameroonian team.. They don't strike me as the tournament's favorites. They have zero flair and no creativity..

Nigerians watch the EPL more than any other league.

Check Watford social media handles and see the disaster there all because Dennis did not come for AFCON. Nigerians that I thought were much more civilized than SAns or Algerians in that respect, see what they are doing there.

Do you honestly think Dennis will keep the form making him the second best player in the EPL behind Salah and he will not be invited and Nigerians will keep quiet? These are not the days of Keshi where you can do that.

Osihmen , Ndidi and few players are sure bet for world cup if we qualify. For Dennis, it is 50/50 even if he scores hat trick again Man city because of NFF politics

It will take some outstanding excuse to prevent Dennis from going to the world cup if he can maintain this form.

No NFF politics will prevent the player with one of the highest goal contributions in EPL from being called up

Nigerians are more concerned about world cup than AFCON, especially as our top players are not in AFCON.

You can't play politics with world cup, you will only harm yourself.

Imagine Nigeria going to 2014 world cup and leaving Osaze with his EPL form out because of politics. Even with the politics then, you couldn't try that.

some people are funny sha, so you are telling me Dennis, and he’s form continue its upward trajectory, will somehow be dropped for World Cup? It just can’t happen.

I don’t really see much into not coming for this afcon, I can understand the situation.

it is better for Dennis to stay at watford and keep his main man status at the moment, than quickly leave for a nations cup full of hypertension, will he even play if they didn’t fire rohr? Again it’s not like dem eze situation where they can play for England or any other team, na naija he go still play for weather he likes it or not, and why won’t he like it.

Long story short, Dennis is a banker for World Cup if he keeps playing and scoring in the EPL.

Lol

No be today Nigerians begin dey make noise.

I repeat, if some other forwards put up a good show in this AFCON, Nigerians will find someone else to glorify and Dennis will not matter as much.

We get short term memory for this country, once something fresh and new pops up, we focus on that. People will placate themselves with another player.

It also does not help that so many Nigerians are convinced that Dennis himself did not want to come for AFCON, so, you already have a group of people that don't like him.

Once our AFCON campaign proper starts, and if we put up a good performance, Watford's page will rest.

Shortly before the inaugural match of this year's AFCON, I'd like to dedicate this post to those of our fallen comrades who couldn't be here with us today. Namely, Tbaba1234 who unfortunately succumbed to illness last year. May his unwavering support for our darling eagles be an inspiration for all Nigerian football lovers!

Rest easy Baba!!!

I don’t really get you.

World Cup is in December

Why are we talking about who is going for a competition that is at the end of the year?

Watford may not even be in EPL by then, Nigeria may not qualify. What is this Dennis talk?

The days of mechanic football are over in AFCON...Thank GOD Var is here.

Some of these west and East African countries play like drunks. My fear for Tuesday is Ndidi and Ekong. I hope they don't behave erratic. Cox these north africans love dishing out theatrics..

The arguments just dey funny me.

Some people really think they can bully NFF into taking a player to World Cup.

Even if that is a possibility, the level of bench he will eat in that World Cup, they will wish he never went.

Could it be that Tbaba was the the same person as Suya of Cyber Eagles who died sometime in November last year?

But Tbaba lives in US.
