Good morning house
I posted a few days ago about my visa application being rejected on the grounds of
personal assets and financial status after providing proof of funds of over 30 million naira and landed property documents belonging to my father. My previous application was through an agent before I was introduced to the thread. Moving forward, please how do I go about securing my visa and I would like for the house to point out my mistakes while also helping me with information to strengthen my chances of acquiring the visa. @ketima @makano @Frankrobbn1 @ lekiboboe and other gurus in the house please your urgent assistance is needed. Thank you

Hello Zubbyk,

So sorry for your refusal. But be rest assured that is just a temporary delay ok. Now, as others rightly said and as ell as you know, this a generic refusal reason, as such, it can't be used to ascertain what actually the reason for the VO's refusal. As we have always advocated here, ordering you note will help know the exact reasons/comments of the VO and help you/us to know how to tackle the refusal reason(s). So order your note and come back. We will surely guide you through. Never hesitate in reaching the gurus here for guide.

But wait ooo

Why are peeps running from UK to Canada,
As UK turned hell
Why

Is not far fetched. Let me give you just a single reason out of many reasons.

1). A PGWP application in Canada is CAD$255 for one person. But a friend who just finished msc and wanted to apply for post graduate work permit, it will cost them (him, wife and 2kids) UK£8,000. So just compare both price and tell me why you won't choose Canada. And mind you, just after one year of that Canada work experience, you can apply for PPR. But is not like that with uk( not sure of that though).

the list is increasingggg
how about medical insurance
work/life balance. then the bills, bills definitely in every country no doubt but UK is exceptional.
permit me if I say, one is a slave to their system because I don't understand how much a family would make in a year, then pay 8000 pounds for permit.

tears

Good evening House,
Pls I got my Letter of acceptance to study in Canada and I’m planning on applying for my study permit. I’ve got all my other documents ready, except for my SOP which I’m still battling with. Most importantly, my husband is my sponsor recently when I got my LOA he sold one of his properties, paid my fees & deposited d other in his account. However, my fear is that since it would be considered as lump sum by the VO what do you advise gurus in the house? Also my family would be my home tie because I won’t be going with the if I eventually get approval including my last baby that is less than a year old. Pls I need your the expertise of gurus here. Help a sister pls as my husband doesn’t understand the procedures, he thinks having the required amount is the main deal @ketima @frankrobbn @justmellow @makano @lekiboboe and other gurus. Please is the covid test PCR or How do you go about PCR?uote author=blueyuchay post=109240658]Landing gist!!!!

I used Egyptair. Left by 2:30pm on Friday Jan 7 through Abuja. I was asked to print all my required docs so they can scan it - Covid test results, ArriveCAN, school fees receipt, enrollment letter.
My luggage was not searched.
Arrived Cairo for 5 hrs layover by 8:40pm.
Boarded for Toronto from Cairo by 2am and I was asked for Covid test results and ArriveCAN before boarding.

Arrived Toronto 7am. Joined the queue where I had to self register my travel docs and I got a receipt.

After that, I joined another queue where they asked for my receipt, passport and ArriveCAN. Then I was asked to join another queue to get my study permit.

I was asked for my study permit approval letter (letter you get on your account after your passport has been stamped). Because I didn’t have a physical copy, they asked for my passport and I was asked to wait with others.
Then my name was called, I went to meet the lady, she asked my school name, course name and if my classes have started. Then gave me my study permit.

From there I went to pick up my luggage, then I was directed to where I submitted my receipt and exited the airport.

Please I’m available for more info if you have questions. Thank you
It is just because education system in the UK is better than Canada...

Before 2006 the UK was favourable for international students Until they switched to tier 4 in 2009 and tight the system for international students
Intact before 2009 you can bring family member to join you on a diploma course between 1500 pounds pay year...
Same will go to canada before 2018 it was more cheaper to pay tuition fees in canada for international students than now...they increase tuition fees at the mid 2019 by over 50%..
Canada landmass is bigger than United States with population of just 38 million people..compare to US population of over 332 million people

Once canada hit the proposed target of immigration..mainly highly skilled immigrants they will tight the system ...

Congrats on crossing the first huddle (getting LOA). Now, lump sum isn't bad even though it raises eyebrows. Now lump sums becomes a problem when not properly explained and proof(s) provided for the VO to see. You mentioned he sold one of his properties, I guess there is/are documents that was exchanged between the buyer and the seller to authenticate the buying and selling. So, you need to explain that in details in your SOP, sighting date and selling price. Also state that it was from the money that your tuition was paid and the rest is in your spouse account solely for study purposes. Attach documents as regards that to Proof that the money wasn't borrowed for DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES. Again, your hubby needs to attach other things like business documents if a biz person or employment details to show he is or is established and won't be needing to sell property to be able fund you. Now if the later is the case, VO might think, what happens when he doesn't have property to sell, how then will he sponsor you.

As I learnt and advise people, first, be your own VO and imagine all the what if questions the VO might think, answer them by yourself, then come seek advise too.

Don't quiet get what you mean here as per the infant in the bolded, but please I would advise you apply with your last baby (visitor visa) who is less than a year old and still suckling.

Yes. Just different name to same thing.

PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests are a fast, highly accurate way to diagnose certain infectious diseases and genetic changes.

If your timeline has exceeded the timeframe, bombard them with mails as reminder. Hope you have your application number? Cos you need to include that in your mails and webform.

So please don't mind the agent. The ball is in your court. Let me use mine as a lesson. I sent mail and webform to IRCC sotey they have to call me on phone requesting I send my passport to them before dropping PPR in my GCKey.

So no one gets punished for sending countless mails. If your application is on the approval queue, it will be approved. Mails do not make them to change the decision already taken.

If you sent IRCC an urgent mail and got your PPR, consider yourself lucky.

I have come to believe that decision was already reached on those applications. If your application is not being reviewed or still under review, there's no amount of email you will send to IRCC that will make them facilitate your application.

In November 2021, I sent IRCC more than 40 emails and webforms. They acknowledged one of the webforms and told me my application was still under review. I repeated the same action in December and got a similar response.

This month alone, I have sent more than 100 emails to IRCC, still nothing.
