Read verse 33...

See, you are just trying so hard to be dumb.

You are the one who gave Ezekiel 31:31-34..

Read verse 33. God said he is going to pit his laws in their mind.

He never said he was sending his son as sin sacrifice...haba
Hen nah, in the hearts of JEWS! JEWS!! JEWS!!!

God is God

Man is man..

God can't become man

And man can't become God..

God is not a man or human being Numbers 23:19..

Jesus is a Roman idol ...has nothing to do with God.
Well, I guess that is according to your own understanding. Some of us happen to know that humans have been becoming Gods from the very beginning of time. The Pharaohs, for instance, were great Gods in their time, as Amujale could teach you if you care to know. You would find it in the Old Testament too if you care to look to understand, and in case you did not understand it from there, Christ, knowing how important that simple knowledge is and its implications, reminded those who read about him too.

Jehova is a Hebrew invention and has everything to do with God, as do the even earlier "Gods" created by Romans, along with Ogun and Sango and Allah and Shiva. A smart person might wonder why humans create Gods.

sonmvayina:
I said the Messiah will lead people fo the worship and reverence of one God. The creator of the universe...Not necessary through Judaism..yorubas refers to the creator as Eledumare and the igbos as chukwu....the yorubas will worship Eledumare and the igbos will worship only chukwu ONLY.
Eledumare =chukwu = marduk = Hashem= creator of the universe...
What was your response when I called budaatum's teaching occultic?

Having a discussion with you is always something else. This is because you are always all over the place. You mean the Babylonians worshipped the true God? Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon or another Babylon? You have to choose one.

Again, "chukwu" is a title and not a name.

The one true God revealed himself to Abraham. From his Scriptures, we know what he expects from his worshippers and how to go to him. Any other god that doesn't have these, cannot be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as recorded in the Scriptures.

Do you think our ancestors, prior to the coming of the missionaries, worshipped the Creator?

He definitely is all over the place and buda is definitely what has been referred to as occult. Or at least, off the beaten track.

I'm sure we'd have called Jesus occultic too though, if he were around today. His time people did said he was demonic, so not far off, don't you think?

I feel Jesus' response would be "Blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear", at least to those who seek to understand.

YES ...that is what I have been singing from the top of my voice.

The Hebrew Bible was written by the jews for the jews. For their official religion called Judaism.
Thei yoruba also wrote or passed the knowledge of their own religion from generation to generation. Same as the igbos.
I wonder why you are using the Hebrew one as a yardstick for all of humanity.
They all worship the creator. There is only one God and creator of the universe.
The only difference is how people approach him and the nomenclature..

Marduk is the creator of heaven and earth according to the Babylonians. He is the lord God of the old testament..(check the enuma Elish) .

It was him who asked Nebuchadnezzar to bring everyone to Babylon to learn about him.

Jesus would have to exist first, don't you think so?

God is just a fancy world for the universe .....lol.

It is same thing as the Yoruba Ifa tradition..if you can lay your hands on it and get a good ifa preist to teach you. No wahala. God's laws are universal. But the most available one is the Torah.. that is why I always mention it..

Re: What Is The Purpose Of The Messiah? by sonmvayina(op): 7:58am On Jan 11, 2022
Let me make my self clear, just in case.

I have always maintained that it is always about God's laws and statutes. The babylonian had it

The egyptian had it
The yorubas had it, in fact it is the basis of the ifa religion

The igbos have it. It is the foundation of their omenani or omenala. The Law was given to all of humanity.

The jews wrote it down and called it the Torah. It was given to mankind to enable us live in peace..( and reduce chaos) .
When the romans became world power , they took it . Because the emperor at that time ( Constantine) wanted a single one world religion he created Christianity and added their scriptures at the back of the Jewish tanakh to make it sellable to human being. They know the tanakh was inspired. They took the Jewish idea of a Messiah and created a ridiculous story out of it and sold it to mankind. This is what emperor Julian said in his book " against the galileans"

" it is, I think, expedient to set forth to all mankind the reasons by which I was convinced that the fabrication of the Galilaeans is a fiction of men composed by wickedness. Though it has in it nothing divine, by making full use of that part of the soul which loves fable and is childish and foolish, it has induced men to believe that the monstrous tale is truth. "

https://en.m.wikisource.org/wiki/Against_the_Galileans

They have killed millions of people just to propagate the lies..even trying to exterminate the jews. But they have always been a raminant who survives..

I am not Jewish, my only concern is to show that Christianity is just rebranded paganism.

MaxInDHouse:

grin

See views of human beings

1.Some people believe that Jesus is God
( they use incarnation story)

2. Some believe that Jesus is not God
( here they use the geneaology story as decoy to suit this claim ..that " he is the Messiah/flesh that was very much talked about when traced)"

3. Some don't even believe in the biblical character Jesus
(Because there is no agreement in their own good book as to whether Jesus is God or not )

4. Some people know Jesus is fiction
(because they have historical records)

Number 1 looks clear, but number 2 looks confusing. Now let's rearrange the sentences.

1. The incarnation story was created to make you believe an immortal can be mortal

2. The Messiah story was recreated to suit the geneaology of a saviour who is flesh and blood grin

But when you rearrange sentences 3 and 4, you don't really need sentences 1 and 2 to draw a conclusion.

Why?

Because you can do a direct rearrangement of 3 and 4 ( just read the ones in the bracket first) and connect to the previous clause.
