The male air host told me at the begining of the flight that i should put my box under the chair, that it will save me incase of a crash, i said stop talking negatively, we will not crash in Jesus name!!! only Jesus can save me!!!

He said theres nothing like Jesus keep fooling yourself and i said to him, Only a FOOL says theres no God. They freaking knew the aircraft was faulty!! Damn!!!!! Bring out my luggage let me go catch another flight. Lousy Bunch

Praising God and cursing the flight crew… all in the same post… Nigerian “Christianity” in a nutshell. The flight host gave you instructions that are standard across the airline industry. Every flight starts with the crew giving you instructions of what to do in the event of an accident. That is policy, nothing to do with your prayers… and no, the air host has no clue if the flight is faulty or not. The pilots don’t know either… landing gear issues are not an occurrence limited to Nigeria alone. All in all, another “celebrity” who is completely ignorant of mundane flight rules.

Arik Air’s flight from Lagos to Asaba has allegedly crash landed at a remote area.

Focus Naija can report that veteran Nollywood actress, Uche Elendu was onboard the aircraft that crash landed.

Taking to social media to berate the Airline’s Crew, the actress said that they were ten minutes to their destination when the aircraft failed gear.

According to her, she said that the pilot attempted to reverse to Lagos before the unfortunate crash landing at the remote area.

As at the time of filing this report, passengers were already on a bus ride to the airline’s terminal in Lagos.

But then, even the story by the actress is bizarre. How can an airplane that lost it's landing gear in Asaba suddenly develop functional wheels after returning to Lagos?... and then of course, it "crash landed" safely in Lagos?

Right! so the plane flew back to Lagos to safety, where did it crash land then?

Mumu, pilot safely "crash landed" you in a safe place since he couldn't land on the tarmac. They also arranged bus to take you to arrival terminal and all you think will be in thier head is apology to you.

I had a similar experience with Aero last November. The pilot told us there was a technical error now rerouted the flight to abuja where we took off from. We were already 30 mins away from Abuja in the air when the fault was noticed. He said he wasn't sure of safety in the remaining part of the trip to lagos so he'd be returning to abuja to land and rectify the fault. Our airlines need a total overhaul

Airpeace is worse please. My different experiences with that airline ehhn. Only 'good thing' is they know how to apologize.

Which one is the plane failed gear? The landing gear failed to deploy or autopilot disengaged or what kwa?

She means a plane that encounters an issue just 10 minutes from its destination airport would rather return to the departure airport which would be more than 10 minutes?

Aunty Nollywood, planes does not reverse, no be Nissan Micra for Ibadan or ketuketu buses for Nnewi or Keke Napep for Daura. They rather return to the departure airport.

Finally, aunty celebrity, I want to believe it was an emergency landing not crash landing.
