So Simon Moses was this threatening yet Rohr kept limiting him to defensive roles and was on the verge of recalling Victor Moses. Who needs Victor Moses now when Simon can deliver. Anyways Premiership calling soon, Simon should be ready for the Premiership soon.

Haba... His poor game wasn't even due to his misses. It was due to his playing style and poor decision making. He only had two big misses, one was the one-on-one. It was clear the guy was nervous, let's cut him some slack. I've gone in-depth to analyze his game and how he's a confidence player. His gameplay is not sleek or flashy like Awo or Osimhen, but he had presence (which was something Olayinka lacked) and was very unselfish. If he can calm his nerves and sort himself out, he'll come out good.
olayinka was much better than sadiq umar from the bit he played

Will advise he stay put in the French league or even go to Spain
Not all players will flourish in the EPL and moreover EPL may expose him to many injuries since he does better with the ball in his feet

Some people amaze me with their takes

Confidence player in 7-game tournament?

We don play 3 games finish and confidence never even pass foundation level, who will wait to build confidence for the duration of the tournament?

Abeg, we have seen enough.

That's why some persons here will make bad coaches

Using the knock stages to build players confidence when you've got players on bench that can do better or rather get the job done

Overall, I am glad to see that Super Eagles football is bringing joy to folks around the country and many are taking pride in our team again. Let's not jinx these guys and think we have the cup in the bag. We should approach every game from now on as if we are 2-nil down on aggregate in a World Cup qualifier.

Lest I forget, Ebuehi was largely underwhelming yesterday. I assume he was just trying to play safe since we've already qualified but i expect more from the lad going forward.

Sure we are getting their but the eagles need a very good keeper if truly we want to compete with the rest of the world
The weakest link in this squad is the goalkeeping. We don't have it yet.

I watched all the corner kicks and set piece from Nwakali. They were all right on point. How did we not bury even one
His set pieces and through passes are top notch. I'm only concerned about strength, positioning and marking. These are very essential for a midfielder. You must be winning balls clinically.

Oga Dave is there any similarity between Nwakili and Etebo? but with Mikel you see little....truly the two are not on the same page and only a myopic person will compare the duo....my point is simple I saw those long passes as Mikel style of playing.

Mikel Obi is my all time number one love super eagles player.

Whenever i mention Etebo, just know I'm referring to his reliability. I hope its clear now. For the other compare, i no gree. But yeah, he had a better game than his previous. But i still missed Aribo.

I believe Ajayi is an upgrade on Omeruo. He offers the same level of defensive solidity plus superior ball-carrying ability and an excellent aerial threat.

Ekong x Ajayi is the way from now on.

Did you also give this match rustiness excuse for Sadiq yesterday or Nwakali in his few minutes against Egypt?

I don't even know if I should call you generous.

Sadiq Umar 7.5? Dude was dancing around 4.0 the entire match, that goal could have only boosted him to a solid 4.5, 5.0 if you want to be generous

His misses were criminal, so criminal, I'm very sure we can still arraign him for attempted murder, because I nearly died.

You're generous O. The rest of the ratings were good, might have scored Ndah a little higher, as well as Onyekuru, but otherwise, cool.

Na you dey talk for the video?

Yea it was me talking. I totally get ur point on Sadiq but to be fair he did score the match winner. The misses were bad but I rated his full performance and not just his misses. Just like I gave Taiwo Awoniyi an 8 for his last game and he missed a lot also.

Do you want to hear the koko, have watched GB match again.I will pick Semi before Ekong and Omeruo based on yesterday match but fact remain Omeruo and Ekong are the first choice, good to have Semi Ajayi in the team, also Awaziem who is back....serious we are free to go even if Ekong or Omeruo are not available.

Rohr was using players in makeshift roles too often, Eguavon us using them in their natural role..
Rohr tried to clip our traditional style of wing playing by making our wingers defensive minded, Eguavon has freed them and given them freedom to soar..
Rohr was limiting Ndidi's influence by playing him in a double pivot midfield, Eguavon has given Ndidi a lone ranger role by allowing his midfield partners freedom up front...

Rohr na otu cheesy

That Sadiq goal, possibly only goal in knock out stage will give him good rating irrespective of his overall displayed....goals do count in rating but Naija fans dey para for Sadiq o.

Yeah I didn't criticise nwakali against Egypt and also the main reason for my criticize of him is because of the hype and been that he is clumsy off the ball

For Sadiq... I can't remember if I really criticise him much against Egypt but u see yesterday I criticized him having been subbed in for 2 matches straight and get to start in 1 he stil fumbles...it shows there is something he need to fix or he does not just have it in him at all

Yeah on dreadlocks but real resemblance of his Dad Ndubuisi Ndah when it comes to the game...Olisa Dad too damn good but Uche Okechucwu,Taribo West,Kingsley Obiekwu and Emma Obafemi denied him a place in Atlanta 96 team.
