I did my biometrics over a month ago now (15th dec) and till now i’m still yet to get any feedback on my application, decision has been made over 2 weeks now but my application is still yet to move to VAC..
Each time i send a paid mail they keep posting me to wait 10 days, when the 10days was over, i mailed again and they still asked to wait till 21st January, i’m sure by 21st they would still post me again..

Please i need help, do i need to go to the embassy in Lagos? Will they let me in without an appointment?
I’ve been to TLS they only told me my passport isn’t ready..

Any suggestions is welcome ��

Hi, yes its normal and you should input your course end date for the visa expiry date field of your husband. For the second part, the funds are just fine where they are since you are married.

is not only you, I also did my bio on the 15th, got NFS on the 5th sent on the 6th l, even sent it again on the 12th....till this very moment nothing from them 10days don pass o .... is why I believe their system has some backlog issues, when you see the way they respond to applications, sometimes their seem to be a structure, other times is just left (u don't even understand what's going on). U see 25th of Nov, with NSF, decision already made, and you see 1st of Nov, with no NSF, no decision made.... . For someone who deals with data, I expected more from UKVI honestly. If they need more hands they should employ more hands so that they give applicants the best service possible. Some people will miss enrollment not because they applied late, but because of the delay in their application process. It will end in praise though.....

You may want to look for accommodation around Burton-on-Trent or Tamworth. That way you will be spending less.

Minutes by Car which I don’t think it would be easy. You can check nearest places to derby for easier and better accommodation .. Plus have you arrived Uk yet ? I’m also for January intake in derby

Write to you the MP of the city or town were you school is located detailing your experiences and how many email you had sent and their responses. Your MP will take it up from there. Someone here did it and got their passport back.
Or
Write to your schools visa support team and let them help you email them also. Hope you get your passport back soon.

It’s very unprofessional, especially the mail response they send, they just say “contact is again after 15 working days as if we have nothing to do with our lives ” and then the 15 working days will come nothing else will be done!
I’m so disappointed, i’m just praying i won’t miss my admission due to their lack of competence.

Any school that did not demand for your statement run away from it. No UK higher institution with track record of compliance will issue you CAS with that

"nothing to do with our lives" lol....don't worry at least a decision has been made on urs, so in time you will get ur passport, just make sure you keep your school updated, you can send another mail or reply the mail they sent you requesting for update by tomorrow, that is if nothing changes today.....don't worry it will end in praise....
