What’s wrong with Ndidi and Onyeka playing together and allowing Aribo to play ahead?

Some coaches are just too rigid.
It all goes well in head until it plays out...

We lost because of poor goalkeeping...

Nigeria did not under-rate the Tunisian... Its the opposite Nigeria showed the Tunisians too much respect...

No we did not.

He made one big costly mistake on what should have been a very basic routine save. I am not surprised by the match in was very lethargic he had nothing to do and lost concentration.

But we lost the game we became complacent and believed our own hype. It's the same thing we do we hype our player to high heavens.

This game was lost because we did not turn up with a WINNING MENTALITY.

Rohr looks like Klopp now compared to Eguavon.

Same here ,that’s why I said unlucky

Exactly the same thing happened in today's Chelsea vs Tottenham game.

Doherty's challenge on Sarr. VAR checked, the referee checked, and it was a yellow card eventually.

That Iwobi's red card was harsh in my opinion.

This was the major problem we had.

Why did Onyeka not have more gametime? Our midfield was clearly overrun.

Aribo was almost playing as a defensive midfielder today. Someone that plays as a winger sometimes for his club.

Irrespective of the result I think we should keep Eguavoen. He looks like someone that can learn from mistakes and the football was good despite the costly mistakes we made here and there.

the major problem we had was the referee...

the second problem we had was showing the Tunisians to much respect by letting them have the ball instead of closing them and attempting to win the ball back immediately...

If this is Eguavon is going to play against "big teams" then he needs to treat every team the same just like Marcelo Bielsa..

the third problem is goalkeeping..

the fourth problem was Ekong's long balls..

the fifth problem was Awoniyi, due to Ekong's long balls the Tunisians were always getting the ball back unlike how we played Guinea-Bissau and Sudan were they were passing the ball through the middle and through the wings..

the sixth problem was Chukweze, he was playing at the extreme end of his position instead of coming lower the pitch and switching with Moses Simon and he was also playing like he was the full-back...

Very painful loss but I am so proud of these lads. Even though we did not go far and we lost this game, I can not deny their effort.

Those guys fought with all they had until the last minute and for that, I say thank you.

Tunisia studied our game and put two men on our wingers.

I just feel for Alex Iwobi. Football is just a game he shouldn't be too hard on himself.

I hope Iwobi will get a good psychologist to help him through this period.

Playing with 10 men for 20 minutes is not an easy thing to do. The boys gave their all, God bless them. Many more battles to fight, many more wars to be won.

Thank you Super Eagles for the wonderful moments! Come back stronger!! We moveeee!!

The only difference between Eguavoen and Rohr today was the introduction of more substitutes.

No tactical input whatsoever. He looked lost and dejected. His countenance alone would have depressed the players.

You can only know how good a coach is when he's under pressure.

We all know how Osihmen plays, he helps the midfield, bullies the opposing defenders, and takes his chances. Awoniyi was nothing of such and brought absolutely nothing to the team. Even the only goal he scored in the tournament na fluke.

I assure you, Osimhen will do nada against Tunisia. What’ did he do against Tunisia when we played third place match in 2019? Zelcheeeeee!

Just as I predicted. I knew Eguavoen wouldn't make it to the Quater finals. He always talked about needing luck.. His press conference today will be all about luck. It's best he went upstairs, leaving the bench for real managers to take over.
